ulus Allen McFadden reply
I don't have information on Thelma Laxton McFadden or Jewell Brinkley McFadden. I do have the obituary of Ulus' brother, Hiram Ira McFadden. He died 31 Aug 2014. I was at Alwood a couple of years ago and took photos of all the McFadden graves - Thelma was not among them. See obituary below:

Hiram I. McFadden, 87, of Piedmont, died on Sunday, Aug. 31, 2014, at the Clarks Mountain Nursing Center. Funeral services were held on Tuesday at the Morrison-Worley Chapel, with Bro. John Radford officiating. Burial was in the Clay Cemetery. Condolences may be left at www.morrisonworleychapel.com.

Hiram married Ruth Hill April 11, 1946 at Van Buren and she passed away January 16, 2012.

Also preceding him in death are his parents, Flynn and Jewell McFadden, 3 children, Jessie May, James Ira and David William McFadden; 1 son in law, Tim Wallace, 3 brothers, Ottis, Bill and Ulus McFadden and 1 sister, Janey.

RE: #63249271
No she is not Oscars mother, Oscar's mother is Lucinda Adaline Moss Ijames, Lurena J. Sweazy Ijames is his stepmother. His mother died in 1882 after he was born in March of 1882 and Mathew Ijames remarried in June of 1883 to Lurena J. Sweazy. I am still trying to find where Lucinda Adaline Moss Ijames is buried.

Max York
Ma'am

I'm in the USAF and I'm researching all the Army Air Force and USAF weathermen and weather recon aircrew that died during wartime. Max York was a weather recon crewman that died in WWII. I'm trying to track down more information on his life and possibly locate a picture of him for our Air Force Weather archives.
