I would like your permission to copy gravestone photos to my Ancestry Family Tree. I will give you the credit.

Thank you, Pioneersearcher # 47016656

Duplicate Memorials for Cubb Prarie Cemetery
I want to thank you for your work on memorials, and adding photos of the stones.
However, I see there are a number of duplicate memorials for the Carroll surname in this cemetery.
Could you please check out your memorials, I know it is easy sometime to duplicate and it makes it hard for those of us who wish to link families.

RE: James B. Halley
There's a Hamilton County, IL land grant dated Dec. 1846 which shows James Blewford Halley, so Bluford, as it's traditionally spelled, is likely correct.

James' son, John (my wife's 2nd greatgrandfather), has a middle initial of "B" for Boster. I see this middle name given to a grandson of this John B. Halley. The grandson's full name of John Boster Halley appears on his World War I draft registration.

I have James Halley marrying Barbara Boster on Sep. 2, 1830 in Gallia County, OH,but I don't have a solid source for that yet.

Hope this helps.

Hi Joice, Thank you for all the excellent photos you took for me at Mount Moriah Cemetery. I'm so surprised to see all of them. Jesse, Indiana and Mark Hodges, Levi and Grace Bingham, Delata and Charles Snow and Harvey, Iva, Clinton, Nina and Elvis Mercer. I sincerely appreciate you taking your time and effort to do these for me. And thank you for taking the extra care to do close up and even back (on one) of the headstones. Vicki

Sweetin Stones
Thank you for the pictures of the Sweetin stones you took in July. Sorry it took me so long to properly thank you, but I haven't been doing much genealogy research over the summer and am just now finding time to start researching again.

RE: James B. Halley
Hi Joice,
I found it interesting to see how you connected with James B. Halley. James B. Halley would be my wife's 3rd GGrandfather. She descends from his first wife, Barbara Boster--then to John Boster Halley, Samuel "Riley" Halley, Franklin Halley, to her mother, Mary (Halley) Smith.
I maintain a Halley tree with some Goin information on Ancestry and am always open to researching that line.
