|Wallace G Lane Jr||RE: Headstone - Peter Vega|
I was at Green-Wood Cemetery today. When I came through the gate I was given a flag and a red carnation. I was going to be passing near his grave so I thought I would leave the flag with him. There was a beautiful wreath on his grave and a identical wreath on the grave to his right and the grave behind. All three men were lost on that day.
I have attached a new image to Peter's memorial.

You're welcome - sorry there wasn't a stone. That section is a little different than most others in the cemetery - flat stones and alot of open spaces. I'm always disappointed when I go to take the pic and there's no stone. Laura

Hi Mary - I tried to update where I believe Great Grandma Mary was buried. It will not let me request photo. I think since you are the memorial creator you need to put the information in.
Here it is: Mary Lavery, St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY September 6, 1955, Section 9/Row G/Grave 76.
Could you request photo? Let us know if this is in fact Mary's gravesite.

Hi Mary hope u get this. This is Maureen Murphy Rosenberg daughter of Helen Murphy sister of ur grandmother Mary Shine Snell n granddaughter of Mary Lavery Sayers. I did not renew on ancestry so couldn't answer ur last inquiry. My grandma Sayers died in July 1955 not 1950 n don't think she is buried in Greenwood. She died in a hospital on Long Island n I think she is buried on LI. With the majority of my relatives. She did have a twin brother Joseph who came from Ireland after her n lived in Philly. My mom said he used to visit them and then stopped coming when he got mad at Nana for drinking all the time. They never had contact with him after that. I know it was July 1955 because your Aunt Cathy was visiting us in Georgia when Nana died and we all went back to NY. My email is email@example.com. Pls get in touch. Wd love to hear more from you. Thanks.
I had several SAC's outstanding for your contributor name. I have forwarded them to Find A Grave since they were over 6 months old.
