Some of the cemetery pictures I have taken are of higher quality than others, so I wouldn't be at all offended by polite suggestions to remove a photo, if better ones have been obtained. A reminder that if my thumbnail on a memorial seems distant, or grainy, one can click for a larger detailed image. I do not keep originals after uploading successfully. FYI - most photos were taken within a week or so of upload date.
I'm generally willing to transfer memorials, other than my own family (unless you have a closer relationship). Please let me know your relationship to an individual, no matter how distant, or other circumstances triggering the request - thanks.

Please do not request that I add (paste) extensive obituaries or other similar material. If you feel there's a specific reason why the person should have special note, please explain why I should make an exception - thanks.

Arthur Gunn is listed as born in 1868. Records show he was born in 1866 then zooming into your photo I see it is 1866 on the grave stone.

Thank You, Mardi

Emory Family in Seattle
Thank you for transferring the various memorials of the Family of Judge George Meade Emory; who are buried in Lake View Cemetery in Seattle, Washington to my care.

John, it is thanks to individuals like you; who's incredible contributions here at Find-a-Grave are invaluable to individuals like me doing family research. ~ with appreciation, George Gaston

Mary (House) Manter
Today I found a death record for Mary (House) Manter, daughter of William House and Jeanett Coleman. Mary was the second wife George Manter. All lifetime residents of Nantucket.

Mary Manter died 9 Jul 1880. Her death record states she was buried in Friends Cemetery. I'd like to post her on F-A-G but don't know if I should put her in the Quaker Cemetery. After reading about the lack of headstones in the Friends/Quaker cemeteries I want to put her in the right place.

Do you have any suggestions/recommendations for me?
Thank you for your help....again.

RE: Verna Klein in Seattle
Yes, she's my first cousin once removed. I'm related to all the Dillon's, Washburns, Kurths, and Kleins at Crown Hill Cemetery. Would be grateful if you transferred them to me.

Meltiah Nye
Thanks for the awesome photo. I only know for sure that Meltiah, Hannah and James M. Nye are buried in Old North Cemetery. Are there any other Nye's buried there? I would love to add any others to my database.

Newtown Cemetery Photo Requests
You wrote: You have three requests there. Those names do not appear on the Historical Society list of graves, and this cemetery is almost completely photographed. Would you mind sharing where you obtained those specific plot numbers? Thank you.

Reply: Firstly, I found the memorial for baby Ann Louisa Cash #37217292 stating she was buried in Plot C-27 (died in 1851).

Her parents, Capt George H Cash and Emeline H Chubbuck Cash died 2 Apr 1888 and 2 Jan 1890 respectively. George and Emeline were lifetime residents of Nantucket. I really do not know which cemetery they are buried in but took a chance they might be near their baby. If I could find confirmation of which cemetery on Nantucket this couple is buried I will gladly correct their memorials. Can you help me find the answer? They have a son, Stillman C Cash Memorial 112266412 who died in 1925, who is buried in Prospect Hill Cemetery Old Section #706. Possibly they are near him.

Thank you for any help you can throw my way.

Hi John,
No I am not related to the Winchesters, just researching Bennington County and this family is from the area.
