Bio Photo While new to the findagrave contributor community I have been using it as a resource for quite a while.

While searching in cemeteries for my own family I'll be taking pictures of the other graves to post for the benefit of other researchers.

I am from Clinton County Ohio and will be visiting several cemeteries to track down some elusive relatives.

Please feel free to use any of the pictures I have taken of the memorials for any non-profit use. You may upload them to your website, or whatever geneology website you want. I took these photos for people like you and want you to use them.

RE: Fernau/Fearnow line
These people you mention are almost surely related! I have a number of Ferneau relatives in Pike County, OH. Originally they came from Morgan County, VA, which later became a separate state, West Virginia. Then a large number of them migrated to that part of Ohio. I'd have to do some digging. There are a few Bakers in the tree as well, but not sure if they are the same family as well. Nothing jumps out right now, but then again, I don't always include all siblings in the family tree, because the tree is already getting so huge. I am at a very busy time right now, but feel free to follow up in a few weeks if you'd like me to explore further. Thanks for writing, please keep in touch!!!

Re: Richard Mitchell duplicate memorial
Hi Jamie,
I just realised that you are not the photographer of the headstone photo. (I must need more coffee 0_o ).

To preserve both photos, just forward the e-mail you received to and ask them to merge the memorials.

Thanks, Rich

I have added a close up of the Inscription for James Potts as well. Do you Realize that next to him is his wife Catherine (9013180)

Debbie Smith Shaffer
Abijan Smith
Hello Jamie,
I suggested an alternate spelling on this person's memorial page, Abijah. I believe he is the son of Ransford Smith Sr who is also buried in Lambert's Cove along with his Uncle Nathan Smith (brother of Ransford) and Aunt Parnel Smith.
Agijah is listed in The History of Martha's Vineyard, Vol 3 by Charles E. Banks, pg 451. An Abijah Smith is also listed in the Tisbury Vital Town Records Deaths on 13 Dec 1771. Any chance you could see if that date is legible on the stone directly? Very hard to read in the picture.
Thank you so much for putting this on F-a-G!!

RE: Fernau/Fearnow line
OK, I'm trying to see where you fit into our tree....I have a Sarah A Ferneau, born 1843 in Ohio, died 1914 perhaps in Iowa, but she was married to Thomas C Rittenhouse, and I don't see any Baker as a second husband. I have another Sarah Fearnow born 1880 in Indiana, died 1940 in Indiana; she married a Ross Miller. Perhaps you could help me by telling me her dates and places of birth/death, as well as her parents?

Fernau/Fearnow line
I saw your "My Ferneau Line" virtual cemetery and enjoyed learning that we share some relatives! I should do the same and group some family members! I hope to hear from you sometime, if you get the chance.

Wonderful photos!!
Thank you so much for your wonderful photos... for those of us far away from the East Coast, it would be almost impossible to visit each of these cemeteries to photograph our distant ancestors' last resting places.
Again, thank you for taking the time and effort!!
