While new to the findagrave contributor community I have been using it as a resource for quite a while. |
While searching in cemeteries for my own family I'll be taking pictures of the other graves to post for the benefit of other researchers.
I am from Clinton County Ohio and will be visiting several cemeteries to track down some elusive relatives.
Please feel free to use any of the pictures I have taken of the memorials for any non-profit use. You may upload them to your ancestry.com website, or whatever geneology website you want. I took these photos for people like you and want you to use them.

OK, I'm trying to see where you fit into our tree....I have a Sarah A Ferneau, born 1843 in Ohio, died 1914 perhaps in Iowa, but she was married to Thomas C Rittenhouse, and I don't see any Baker as a second husband. I have another Sarah Fearnow born 1880 in Indiana, died 1940 in Indiana; she married a Ross Miller. Perhaps you could help me by telling me her dates and places of birth/death, as well as her parents?

I saw your "My Ferneau Line" virtual cemetery and enjoyed learning that we share some relatives! I should do the same and group some family members! I hope to hear from you sometime, if you get the chance.
Thank you so much for your wonderful photos... for those of us far away from the East Coast, it would be almost impossible to visit each of these cemeteries to photograph our distant ancestors' last resting places.
Again, thank you for taking the time and effort!!
|Dixie Carter||Martha Ann Sutphin|
There is some confusion concerning the identity of Martha Ann Sutphin. She is the daughter of Hedrick Sutphin and Virginia Jane Harbour Sutphin. You have her listed as the wife of Jerry Keith. However, she was married to Ralph Stewart Gunnoe in Wyoming County, WV on February 22, 1863. On the marriage record it list her parents name as Hendrick and Jane Sutphin. It would be impossible for her to be married to both men because they had many children together. Her son Ulysses Gunnoe, my great uncle was born in 1872. I have a picture of Martha that belonged to her granddaughter, Ella Gunnoe Henson.

Can you please delete this record. It is a duplicate. The other is #43038185. Bernice Christena Hawk Shafer.
Ada, Dorothy, Everett and Floyd Cline are my direct relatives. Could you please transfer these 4 memorials to me? I sincerely appreciate the kindness that you have shown in creating the memorials for them!

|Thomas Whitehead||Elizabeth and John McFerren|
I am interested in finding information on Elizabeth and John McFerren that is buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Leesburg, Highland County, Ohio. I think that this is the same Elizabeth Ruff, b. abt 1819 SC who married John McFerren on Feburary 2, 1837 in Warren County, Ohio. They had one son, Nathaniel McFerren, b. 1842 Ohio. She is the daughter of Henry and Maria Eve Ruff of Noxubee County, Mississippi. She moved to Brown County, Ohio with her sister and brother in law, Thomas and Dorithy Ruff Hawthorn from Newberry County, South Carolina. I would appreciate any information Elizabeth and John McFerren.
