Cheryl lives in West Virginia and enjoys geneology. She has recorded many family members at Find A Grave, and has added records and photos from cemeteries that she has visited in her area. I have posted many memorials of people who are not related to me, so please don't send me any family history unless it is for the Ray, Ball, Collins, Vincent or Latta/Lattea families. ******I give my permission for anyone else to use my photographs.|

I just realized you had added flower-info and picture to the site for Clyde Lattea at the Straight Run Cemetery. Please apply the picture to the site 16855812, McClutcheon Cem. on Straight Run and let me know when I can delete my duplicate. Thanks, Hilda

Nice work on the Maj. Wm Haymond memorial.
NO, I'm not related to William but to his second wife Mary Pettyjohn Powers. I have all this information. Glad you added it here.
I tracked William's page back from a Polsley name married to Sarah Powers, a descendant of Mary & Major Powers. They were nearly all connected back in the pioneer days on the frontier and life was short and dangerous.
The pickins' were few, so sometimes cousins or sisters became wives. Can't imagine what that must have been like knowing all the secrets of your spouse.
Please don't surprise me with any transfers.
Thanks for the excellent work here.

My Great-Grandmother and Clyde Lattea were siblings. My grandmother is trying to locate a picture of Clyde. Do you have any pictures or know of any family member that would have one.
|WVRoots||Thanks for the photos!|
I just want to say how refreshing it is that you are willing to share all your photos with the rest of us who are building our family trees. The memorials look much nicer with photos and many of us are unable to travel to each state to take our own pictures. Your generosity is much appreciated!

Hi Cheryl -
Just a note to tell you that I really liked the photo you took of this cemetery. I just found it today and wanted to tell you how much I thought of it.

I was blown away when I saw your photo. William Strickling was my maternal GGGrandfather. He was in the civil war,registered in West Virginia,and was a physician. His son Clarence illiam Strickling was my mother's father.
I want to thank you so much. These moments must make your work rewarding. I am still getting chills from actually seeing the photo. May God bless you for the happiness you have brought.
