Got in the habit of snapping tombstone photos wherever I go.

The funniest tombstone I ever saw had the inscription, "I told you I was sick."

Blanche Lula Phillips and Mollie and King Davis
Hi Jean.

Thank you for your contibutions to FindAGrave. It is so wonderful to have mutual genealogical acts of kindnesses from all over the country to help us find our ancestors. I am the daughter of Virginia M. Strait, the granddaughter of Blanche Lula (Davis)Phillips and the great grandaughter of King Samuel Davis and his wife Mollie Malone (Stringham) Davis, who are all buried (or will eventually be buried) next to each other. Also, Mildred Davis, my grandmother Blanche's sister and also the daughter of Kind and Mollie.

If you are not related, would you mind transferring any and all of the memorials I have mentioned to me? I would be most appreciative. If you are related, I bid you hello and say thank you again.

Regards,

Kelly (Strait) Swick

Thanks so much
Jean, very kind of you to transfer those memorials to me. I will make sure they are correct as I do my own research and do not copy anyone or listen to 2nd hand stories that can not be verified. What I post comes from documented data which BTW all that info posted on Mary Imogene Mattingly is the truth! Her own grand daughter even told me she went by Maria not Imogene as she knew her. This is a wonderful site here and folks should respect it more and the hard working folks like yourself that do these memorials and it is to their shame to make such adverse comments, my personal loving opinion! Any time I can continue to assist, just let me know, happy trails~

Mary Smeathrs grave information
WHY DON'T YOU STICK TO POSTING ABOUT YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS AND LEAVE MINE ALONE. YOU AGAIN HAVE POSTED ERRONEOUS AND UNTRUE INFORMATION ON MY GRANDMOTHER'S FIND A GRAVE LISTING. YOU HAVE BOTCHED UP SEVERAL OTHER SMEATHERS' FIND A GRAVE LISTINGS. LEAVE OUR FAMILY'S INFORMATION TO OUR FAMILY FOR POSTING. MARY SMEATHERS HAS YOU HAVE PUT HER NEVER USED THAT NAME ALONE AND 99% OF THE TIME WENT BY HER MIDDLE NAME IMOGENE. SHE NEVER LIVED IN LEWISPORT AS YOU HAVE LISTED. NEVER.

Jean,
I was delighted to find your information about my 1st cousin 3 times removed. She surely moved to Hapeville in 1870 because her roots, and much of her family (uncles, aunts, cousins, and siblings), were in the Hapeville area. My direct information about her and her family is extremely limited, but she was known by my great grandfather, John Franklin Jones, and his parents. She probably named her daughter, Marietta, for her sister, Marietta Jones.

Best wishes,
Demaris Guest Humphries Miller

RE: Louis Higley
Hello ------ Thank you for the information. I have entered Sarah as Sarah Ford in Coffey County, Kansas. She was buried with her 2nd husband. She married three times in Coffey County. L. Higley married 4 times, according to a Higley researcher. -----

info on Mary Ann Woffard
Hi there I am a family genealogy researcher and Mary Ann is my 3d great-grandmother. I noticed the write up stated that she had 3 children, 2 sons which are named, and a daughter who is unknown. The daughter's name is Georgia A Triplett. I have a little more information if you would like to have it.
