RE: Mudgett
Hi Leah,

It could be that those who have used your pictures have not been sensitized to copyright issues. I have discovered some examples of people using my pictures. I have written them, they have apologized, removed the photo they have posted and then requested that I post my picture which I have done.

RE: Mudgett
Hi Leah,

I am glad you like the picture. Yes you may use the picture for your ancestry tree. I assume you will give credit.

Photo John B Arteaux grave
Hi! A couple of years ago you very kindly photographed the above headstone in Sioux City. I am working with a friend on the memoirs of John B Arteaux (he was her great great uncle). We are hoping to publish them in book form so that other family members can know more about him. Would you be willing for us to use your photo as one of the illustrations?
Yours hopefully,
tgar

Louisa Clair (Claar)
You photographed the grave of my great-great-grandmother, Louisa Clair (actually Claar but they spelled it wrong on her grave) at Old Greencastle Cemetery. Would you mind if I used it for my Ancestry family tree? I would greatly appreciate it. I have been looking for her for a long time. Thank you!

Harry Henry Stroesser
I was wondering if you might be willing to transfer management of my great-grandfather's memorial to me? (Harry Henry Stroesser, #77208334.) Or, if you would prefer to keep management, could you add the following bio? Thank you.

Harry Henry Stroesser was born 18 Oct 1878 in Heispelt, Luxembourg, under the name Johann Stroesser. How and when he became known as Harry Henry is uncertain. His parents were Peter (Pierre) Stroesser and Barbara Thines. They both had passed away by the time Harry was 14 years old. According to family oral tradition, Harry came to the U.S. in the early 1900s with his sister Clara. She married and settled in Minnesota, and Harry moved to Omaha.

Harry spent the rest of his life in Omaha, working as a carpenter (he became the city carpenter in 1914) and was very active in the labor union. He married Mary Josephine Craig on 8 Sept 1915, and fathered 13 children, 10 of whom survived to adulthood.

He died on 28 Feb 1964.

Calista & Cordelia Allen
Thank you for checking the plaques for Calista and Cordelia's names. I appreciate your efforts. At least now I know they really do belong with the "unrecorded dead".
