Bio

I was born August 16, 1948 in Decatur, Morgan County, Al to Waldon Wade McMillan and Hattie Lene (Hattsie) Cunningham McMillan. My only sibling is my older sister Carol Joyce McMillan Gragg (born Sept. 19, 1946). My parents were both from Lawrence County, Al: daddy from around Moulton and mother from Mt. Hope. I graduated Decatur High School in 1966 and my greatest accomplishment there was performing as majorette for the marching band. I have one child, Randall Blake Ryan (born March 7, 1967), from my first marriage to James Dennis Ryan (born July 10, 1947). I spent 25 years as a technical designer/drafter in mechanical and architectural design - starting out on a drafting table with paper, pencils and straight edges and ending up drawing with AutoCADD on the computer. After living for 12 years with my current husband Jack Clayton Cox (born May 19, 1947) around Tampa, Fl, we retired and moved here to Fayetteville, Ga, to be near my son, daughter-in-law LeeAnne and our two grandchildren, Blake (Oct. 9, 2000) and Kathleen (April 11, 2002). They are the greatest joys of my life along with my church relationships and my hobbies of painting and drawing, reading, gardening and cooking.
