The majority of my family lived and settled around Douglas County, Oregon. I have always been very interested in family history and genealogy so it was just natural that I would be interested in cemetery preservation.
The majority of the entries that I make are my direct family members but I do try to add in as many other non related people that I can. I am happy to do look ups for any cemetery in Douglas County, Oregon so if you are looking for someone and donot know where they are buried just send me a request and I will be happy to look it up for you.
I live in Salem, Oregon and I am happy when I have free time to take pictures from any of the surrounding cemeteries.
If you have a moment please stop by and visit my mother Loretta's
memorial. I lost her to cancer in 2008.
Thanks for stopping by sending
Love & prayers your way, Susan
PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO REQUEST UPDATES TO A GRAVE YOU MAY NOW DO SO DIRECTLY ON THE GRAVE. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO REQUEST A TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP OF A FAMILY MEMBERS GRAVE PLEASE SEND ME AN EMAIL AND I WILL BE HAPPY TO ASSIST.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE.

I have some info from one of his distant relatives you might be interested in;
Marriage to; Sarah Ada McCullough 17 May 1905 Marshfield, Coos Co., Oregon
James Edward "John" Belieu
(b. 16 Feb 1858, d. 31 Oct 1930); Marshfield, Coos County, Oregon
I have some more information on Sarah's family and at some point plan to figure out the Belieu line in more detail. I welcome inquiries from anyone interested in this line.

The two individuals Sarah Jane Aiken Lane wife to Simon Robert Lane, and Sarah Bell Lane, who are mother and daughter are my relatives. I do have photo's of their graves and a picture of the Cemetery. Simon was the brother To my 2nd Great Grandmother Winifred Lane, they were children of General Joseph Lane and Polly Pierre Hart Lane. Could I manage their memorials by chance? Been to their graves several times in the past.

Thought you'd be interested in knowing there was a front page write-up about the cem in the Aug. 30, 2014 issue of the Roseburg, OR "The News-Review". You certainly got a head-start on this cem!! :-)

Would you like the family info on James Cole so you can link them together? I'd be more than happy to supply them for you. James is my GGGgrandfather. I'll be making a trip up to the Coles Family Cemetery to document markers and info on who is actually buried up there and will supply pictures and locations. I can't access it until this summer but will share the info on find a grave. thank you. I'd be more than happy to take over admin on James (and any other Cole's) if you'd like.
Thank you for adding the links to his parents.

Thanks for the time and energy you have dedicated to Findagrave, it has been a tremendous help to those of us who are researching family in Douglas County.
I have a copy of the Death Certificate for Alfred Leowen Adams, son of James H. Adams & Anna M. Rose. It states that he was born March 6, 1894, Douglas County, Oregon & died October 17, 1922. He was 28 years, 7 months and 11 days of age. Cause of death was Typhoid Fever. He was single and was a farmer.
Thanks again for you dedication,
