I am working on maintaining Middlesex (Map), Essex (Map) and Suffolk (Map) counties in Massachusetts.|
If any information I enter is incorrect, you wish to add something, or would like a direct relative within four generations transferred just let me know. (per F.A.G. guidelines FAQ79) If requesting a transfer please make sure to say how you are related.
Please use the 'Edit' tab on the upper right hand corner of the memorial for any of the above requests. Thank-you.
This is Find A GRAVE. Please do not ask me to link to 'burial unknowns'. I will be more than happy to do so when the location is found. Take a moment to read FAQ146 regarding unknown burials.
In case you do not wish to read FAQ146 it states "Location of body unknown is used for recent deaths where the disposition is not currently known. Final disposition must be determined and updated within 30 days."

|Barry Gates||RE: RE Cemeteries|
Mill Street has twice been extended past Peabody Street, about 2012 and 1980. It used to end on the southern side of the river. I drover creeper-slow from the river back to peabody street, and the first 100 feet or so, below Peabody on Mill, and didn't see it. But it's forested there, so tough to look around. It is worth another try. Maybe a park-and-walk. Best of luck on that.
Gregory Street, if below (SE) of Deacon Lane, is most likely Middleton Colony cemetery. They just started digging up that field, for new construction of some sort, over this winter (since harvest?). They're rehabilitating the whole colony it seems. I only read the Beverly Citizen, so I have no clue what's up. You?
That Salem thing with Jack Parker is also taking off (I'm working with and guiding them on it. It was mine, but I have 0.000 time to work on it.) I understand why you folks can't help on that (not being QUITE AS local).
Thanks on all the help. Keep me posted. I'll try to drop you a line if I get my boots on the ground soon and find anything, too. Barry
|Barry Gates||Re Missing Cemeteries|
Thanks re thinking of finding the missing cemeteries.
Re Gregory Street (technically in East Section), that is probably the Middleton Colony of Danvers State Hospital. I saw the numbers-only stones a decade ago. They are building anew there now. I do not know where they have re-interred the bodies, nor if they are already on the memorial on the ex-DSH land or added, or not even. My Hows (Howes) are from there, and one of my Hows is in the Howe Cemetery (an ancestral father-in-law), but I know there were other Howes in the North Section at one time.
Re Thomas Rd, that you may find to be a private road now (or it was, and now is not). I believe that will turn out to be the Richardson Cemetery (not Fuller on Richardson, which is located where the latter's current farm is, off MA-114).
I expect Fuller North and Howe to be off Essex and North Liberty streets, or vice versa, Symonds to be off East (due to burieds Boxford origins), and Elliott who knows (they came from away, probably Beverly, and married into various families, including the Flints of South Middleton, so I'd guess it would be somewhere in the Central District, but that'd be a guess). I have company this weekend, or I'd do more now. Thanks for the help (just what I was attempting to "instigate", ... grins here). Regards, Barry.
Your entries are superb!!! THANKS.

You're most welcome, Denise. Glad I could be of help. The obituary came from the Bismarck Tribune at http://bismarcktribune.com/news/obituaries/
re: Thank you so much for sending Arthurs obituary. He was my uncle. I live in Massachusetts so did not get to see it. Was this published in the local paper? or was this from the funeral home? Denise.

|High Plains||RE: Esther B. Nomeland Trulson|
Surely was a typo!! I looked up the obituary and the year of marriage is 1938 Sept 21 (according to the obituary). Sorry for the typo! And thank you for catching it. It has been corrected on the memorial.
High Plains :)

You are most welcome! Thanks for updating it. Good luck to you in your further research! Hope you are enjoying your early morning.
re: Grace L. (Trulson) Jacobson
Just wanted to thank you for the links to her parents, Emil and Gina Trulson, in the Fairview Cemetery in ND. Grace just happens to be a great aunt. I havent worked on much genealogy on that side of the family in a while. So this is very much appreciated and got me moving again. Thank you. Denise.

His Memorial looks perfect - right down to the Jr. on his name and all the birth dates of his 5 children. You must also have access to the book with the Littleton Town Records.
Thank you also for the cemetery information and all of your hard work.

|Janet Chambers Worley||RE: Chambers memorials|
My initial request for transfers was amicable. You made this battle. I suppose you don't care for the other creators who granted my requests for transfers.Are they in the wrong?
You owe me an apology for that unbelievable nasty crack you made about Cecil!
|Janet Chambers Worley||RE: Chambers memorials|
Well, Denise, you still didn't answer as to why you need to hold on to a memorial that is not a family member of yours.Other creators transfer memorials without question and list that they will do so on their bio page.You are just a control freak and nasty at that! My friend, who evidently emailed you, just thought she would try to help.Why do you want to control my ancestors memorials? You don't get paid or win a prize for doing so.And that was a terse remark you made about my ancestor only living 6 months and that his life had no value.Find A Grave should bounce you just for making that remark.I am sure if others knew you made that remark about someone's loved one, that no one on this site would want you handling their loved ones memorial! And as for the guidelines, I have read them all, as I do in any group I am in. I fully intend to let Find A Grave know about your less than proper remark. I also intend to spread the truth about you in the groups I am in. I already have , not mentioning your name, and no one can believe you won't make the transfers.
I would like to know how you are going to handle the info I want added to the 8 memorials for my ancestors that are buried at Lowell, which you usurped me by doing them.And ! I repeat, I own that family plot! Find A Grave should have a guideline for this, that gives preference to the owner of a family plot.I now see why many cemetaries have adopted a no photo policy for the privacy of the family.
