Bio and Links
Bio Photo I found Find-A-Grave (aka FAG) accidentally, but I love the idea, hope that it always stays free to the public.

If there is something I've posted that you question, or are concerned about; please contact me. I'd like to get the information on the memorial as correct and complete as possible.

I try to use as many sources as possible (that I can get to) to get the information correct; such as Cemetery records, Church Records, Funeral home records, County records, State records, obituaries, & from the families; but I know mistakes can be made. Please let me know.
One problem that comes up a LOT, is duplication; since I work mainly from church records, I have no idea if indeed there are 2 cemeteries; or 1 cemetery with various different names that were used over years; both instances have occurred. But what is the right answer?? I have found 1 person who has two stones in 2 cemetery's in 2 different STATES; but where is the body actually?? Or a different person entirely? I can't tell you because I don't know. I have found where a person was buried to start with, then because of changes for example; dams, family wants to move them, I try to keep as much information, to note the 1st burial (disregarding the date when entered into FAG) as a memorial and make changes to show they were here now have been moved to here; very important for tracking family moves throughout the years.

Myself? I am researching for my own inter-related family branches as well; Bahr, Baker, Hays, Keyes, Kussmann, McLaughlin, Meeker, Shaw, Visger, and Walker (up to great-great-grandparents and all their siblings so far).

I found a statement about links that is similar to my own beliefs. Myself? I believe in adding information as found because others might not have that particular detail that will help them. I have requested of Melaney Friesen Shaum to be able to use it and with permission, here it is:

♥ *ღஜ Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ ஜღ* ♥ *ღஜ Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ ஜღ* ♥

Let's help the next family member or researcher that visits a memorial by adding all the family links that we know. When family members are not linked, it makes the next person do the research all over again. Also, if we have the information, let's use it before it is forgotten.

I also believe that family links make this site easier to use. The easier it is to use, the more it will be used and the better it will get.

Samuel Reeder
Thank you for the suggestion of inserting the bio for Samuel Reeder, it was long overdue. Thanks to Sam, we have first hand accounts of important events in Kansas history that are truly one of a kind. His diary inspired me to create my blog, which is a tribute to the 2nd Kansas State Militia. His Artwork is featured liberally in the blog and while researching his diary I actually discovered a drawing he made of my G.G. Grandfather stealing cabbages from a from a farm the day before the Battle of the Blue. Kind Regards, Jeff Bell

Harley Long
Your very welcome. I feel being a photo volunteer is a good way to give back to FindAGrave (& its members&visitors) in hopes others will benefit as I do. Today happens to be the 1 year anniversary of finding my half brother (alive & well) thru a distant relative I connected with on this wonderful website!

Harley Long - Washunga Cemetary
Hello, I noticed that you are the Creator of Harley Long's Memorial Page. There was a photo request by Abda, which I fulfilled today. The headstone reads "Harley ______." (with no last name nor dates. I feel confident this is Harley Long's headstone because it is located amongst quite a few Long's. Right beside it, Amelia Pappan Long is buried. Just thought I should let you know, since you are the Memorial Manager. I sent Abda a message regarding this also.If you have any questions to this, please message me. Thanks, Elizabeth

Susan Burks
W W Warren
Lucy M Bullock is listed within his transcript as died 9 May 1914. How she got to Lynn Haven Cemetery, Bay County, FL I have no clue, but I've been trying to find her husband. Her headstone states she died 7 May 1911 and could be 1914 it is scratched into the stone.

She is listed as William W Warren's 2nd wife he married a third time before he died in 1920.

Saint Johns Lutheran Cemetery

I've attached these two but would like to know where you obtained your info or do you have a clue how she got to FL?

my grandfather glen Leland burgess, born dec 6 1888 in loyal, Kansas Garfield (finney) county.
no father ?? you have George & lizzy married in finney county. I am interested if the McLaughlin's or burgess's was living in finney county. I have documents upto 1885 in neb. for burgess's, if you are related to Barbara Elizabeth burgess McLaughlin, then we are related thru R.B. & Sarah A.(shrader)Burgess.

Elizabeth Mead #93598948
In looking at this daughter of Stehphen and Mary Mead.#93598753..please check to see the actual death Date for Mary MEAD is really 1823, BECAUSE if that is true, then Elizabeth Mead #93598948 could not be her daughter because she was born in 1826. Let me know..if you can read the stones again, sure would appreciate it.
Thank for all your hard work!
