Please take note that any pictures taken as a request by myself will be used for my ancestry.com familytree. I started to really get into genealogy in about 2010. I utilize this as well as other websites. If I take a photo for you, you may do as you like with it.

I will be happy to transfer anyone to you that is not near and dear to my heart. Please tell me your relationship and if you are closer to the person that I am, I will transfer them to you. I have recently added veterans from Westchester, NY that are buried in Yonkers. Most of them are not related to me

Also, if you do not hear from me please right away, please resend your message in a few weeks. Like anyone else, I go through busy periods.

I have just found out that I need a person's contributer ID in order to transfer a person to them. Please include it with any messages for transfer that you send me.

"THE RECORDING OF A CEMETERY
BY THELMA GREENE REAGAN

Today we walked where others walked
On a lonely, windswept hill;
Today we talked where other cried
For Loved Ones whose lives are stilled.

Today our hearts were touched
By graves of tiny babies;
Snatched from the arms of loving kin,
In the heartbreak of the ages.

Today we saw where the grandparents lay
In the last sleep of their time;
Lying under the trees and clouds -
Their beds kissed by the sun and wind.

Today we wondered about an unmarked spot;
Who lies beneath this hollowed ground?
Was it a babe, child, young or old?
No indication could be found.

Today we saw where Mom and Dad lay.
We had been here once before
On a day we'd all like to forget,
But will remember forever more.

Today we recorded for kith and kin
The graves of ancestors past;
To be preserved for generations hence,
A record we hope will last.

Cherish it, my friend; preserve it, my friend,
For stones sometimes crumble to dust
And generations of folks yet to come
Will be grateful for your trust."

RE: Lillian Howell
You're very welcome. There are multiple additional names on the gravestone, some of which you already added. Others are: Matthew J. Tobin, Catherine L. Tobin, Vera O'Donnell Paradine, John E. Paradine, Lillian C. Jasper, William A. Jasper, Charles S. Tobin, Kathryn M. Tobin, Matthew J. O'Donnell, James F. O'Donnell, Helen O'Donnell Arnold and Thomas R. Arnold.

Would you like me to transcribe the memorials and transfer them to you or would you prefer to add them yourself and I could add the photo?

I'm so sorry to keep leaving a trail of messages. I looked up Otsego and it is in Allegan County, Michigan. The cemetery I think you are looking for is "Saint Margaret Cemetery" in Otsego, Allegan County, Michigan. The difference is the no"s" at the end of Margaret. In Kent county it is called "Saint Margaret's Cemetery". I think Virginia is possibly buried in Allegan County. If so, again, you will want to change the memorial for her.

Hi,
I was searching for Virginia's grave here in Kent County at St. Margarets Church Cemetery. I was told no one by that name was buried there. I then looked her info up on the computer and found an obit that shows she would have been buried at a St. Margarets in Otsego. I'm not sure which county this is in in Michigan. You will want to change the info on her memorial so that she is shown in the correct cemetery.

Regarding photo request in Calvary cemetery located in Lakewood WA.
Office staff are quoting to photo request volunteers that they will be charging them to give locations of burials. As this cemetery was fully photo documented two years ago, chances are that your request cannot be fulfilled due to: A) Illegible temporary maker or a buried marker and B) No marker at all. If you wish your request to be honored, you will have to contact the office and inquire as to location.

RE: Saint Joseph's cemetery
My sister lives in Yonkers and I've been helping her out as she recovers from a broken leg. The cemetery is just a block from her home and I've been walking the cemetery and decided to photo some of the gravestones and post them up on fineagrave. It's a huge cemetery and there are a lot of photo requests. No personal ancestors though.

Elliot W. Stock
I noticed that you have added Elliot W. Stock to Kingdom Cemetery in Oswego County, NY. However, he actually has already been added to Kingdom ROAD Cemetery, located in Van Buren, Onongaga County, NY. Oswego's Kingdom Cemetery, while coincidentally is on Kingdom Road, is a very small seclude spot that hasn't had a burial since about 1932. This could lead to some confusion between here and Ancestry.com.
