THE URGENCY: Acid rain and mold are devastating inscriptions on cemetery memorials! If we don't photographically record memorials before they become illegible, the final resting places of these loved ones will be lost forever!

I believe that after a few generations, everyone is basically forgotten. Our graves sit there deteriorating without a care. I especially feel for childless couples or infants and children, they are forgotten sooner. I like this website, because generation after generation, our family will be able to come here, and see our graves, and with a little love and care can see our faces also.

Tracing our family lineage becomes so much easier for future generations. This site is an excellent resource for genealogist!

Please take up-close, careful shots of photos on graves! Many may never be seen again, after you leave, as they are quickly disappearing. A family may have no other photo, and may not even know that one existed, if you pass it by.

I'm ready and willing to edit or cancel my entries so don't hesitate to send me your corrections or requests.

Thank you

Albert & Katherine Mesick
I was hoping to find Katherine buried next to Albert, but if she is, the grave is unmarked. I will check at the office this week.

John G. Parks #127692454
Also, I was wondering... do you have any specific information regarding the life and death of this John G. Parks?

James Parks #9514071
Hello, I saw your well-written biography on James Parks and assume you are a relative. If you are related, I would like to correspond about the Park family in Bourbon Co. and Nicholas Co. In particular, I am interested in whatever knowledge you may have on another Patriot found in the area... John Parks, who is honored on the plaque on the Bourbon Co. Courthouse. I am also hopeful that perhaps you have had a male relative who carries the surname participate in the Parke Society's paternal DNA project to prove your immigrant ancestor. I know that there have been a LOT of surprises about assumed lineages as a result of the project. I look forward to your reply. My email is EVEYBL at AOL dot COM. ~Evey :-)

Anna Herr Burkholder/Borckholder
Anna Herr Borckholder was added to FindAGrave a number of years ago under the spelling that is on her gravestone. Half of the burials spelled it one way and half the other. Since there can't be two entries and two Find A Grave numbers for the same person, would you please remove yours? Any information that you want can always be added to the Borckholder listing. You need not add my photo (which you used in your Burkholder listing), because it is already there.

Thank you for your cooperation - Anne Brown

Ninette Barber Campbell
Richard Thayer Jr is also my 9th great grandfather - Richard Jr, Nathaniel, Nathaniel, Nathaniel, Jacob, Stephen, Rufus, and then Helen Thayer, who married my gg grandfather, Orson Charles Barber. I would love to know exactly what your direct line is. Here's hoping there is an actual connection. I have no knowledge of any of these relatives other than names, and where and when they were born and died...well, some of them. I look forward to hearing from you.

Caroline Zimmerman Bodenhausen
I have transferred this memorial to you. Do you have record of Caroline's parents or siblings? My 3rd great grandmother is Maria Karoline Wilhilmine Zimmerman who married Christian Carl Bunse. Both are buried at Zion. Just wondered how Caroline and Maria were related.

Catherine Clover
I was just at Clover Cemetery double checking for Catherine Clover and I did not find her. A lot of the stones are illegible anymore and there was a huge pile of old knocked down stones so it may have been in that pile. However, about a quarter mile down the road there is another cemetery with a lot of "Clover" names so I will swing by there soon and see if she is in there.

Aaron and Esther Engle
Thank you so much for trying to locate Aaron and Esther Engle's headstones. Considering the age of the stones it is not surprising that they are not readable. Thank you again for all the effort.
