Bio and Links
Bio Photo PLEASE use the EDIT to ask for transfers, with your ID # and the PHOTO REQUEST if you want a photo of the stone for EACH person listed. I try to get other family near the one requested in case they are not already listed, but if they are already listed it is nice if you also request them. I print off the requests from the computer, and the "notes" don't show if you ask for other family members. You have my permission to use my photos of the stones for your family records.

It is my wish that everyone is remembered, this is my way of helping make it happen. We all will make mistakes, I'm happy to make changes and transfer loved ones always hoping that you can add to their memorials. I just want to help, when I find more information and send an edit, it is sad when that isn't added. I am so thankful for the ones that put family of ours on, some we had no idea where were, so you can see what a blessing Find A Grave has been.

Today this seems to be the case- Author Unknown
An old man, a boy and a donkey were going to town. The boy rode on the donkey and the old man walked. As they went along the road they passed some people who remarked, "What a shame the old man is walking and the boy is riding." The man and boy thought maybe the critics were right, so they changed positions. Later they passed some people who remarked, "What a shame, he makes that little boy walk." So they then decided they'd both walk. Soon they passed some more people who remarked, "They're really stupid to walk when they have a donkey to ride." So they both rode the donkey. Now they passed some people who shamed them by saying, "How awful to put such a load on a poor donkey?" The boy and man figured they were probably right, so they decided to carry the donkey. As they crossed the bridge, they lost their grip on the donkey and he fell into the river and drowned. The moral to the story? If you try to please everybody, you might as well kiss your ass goodbye!

Having expressed this I have to say, most all of the people are easy to please. There are occasionally some who aren't, it is extremely hard to read people's minds. If you send information try to tell us how you want it added or used. It is really helpful if you send it directly to that persons memorial page, but I'll do my best to add & give credit to you however you get it to me. Thank you all who have sent links and info to make memorials more then just names and dates!

RE: B.F. Parker
What the heck?!! I did not notice! I guess they didn't have the obituary in hand. It must have been an interesting joint effort getting that stone financed. I still don't get how the two families fit together, but I assume they are indeed related. I've never seen a stone quite like that. If you didn't know, you would think there were two different stones out there.

David Barker photo request
Hi Luella,
I tried to find David Barker for you at Most Holy Redeemer but had no luck. There are some stones that are so faded or buried so they are illegible and some stones missing. I didn't want to comment on the photo request itself because I didn't want to discourage others from trying. Jane

Hi Luella,
Strange request here but I'm curious if you are a descendant of the Hubka family (Joseph and Mary)? My husband and I recently purchased an old home in Munden and from what I've found, they owned the property for quite some time. I'm just trying to find confirmation as I'm a history nut and want to find all I can about our home's history - and was wondering if you might know anything about their time in Munden? Thanks so much!

Eleanor Walker
Hi Luella - I am researching Canadian relatives and wonder if Eleanor Walker is one of them. She was married to Byron Walker, who is my grandfather's brother. I also wondered if perhaps you are one of her many grandchildren whose first names begin with an "L". I met Holly and Diana Stevenson during family visits in the 1950's and was especially fond of their son Lewis. Their daughter Linda and her husband Lyle's children had first names that begin with "L".

My name is Cynthia Minton and I live in South Hadley, MA.

I joined Find A Grave today and wonder if anyone will need my services where I live in Western Massachusetts. Thanks in advance for your kind attention to this message. Cynthia
