Bio and Links
Bio Photo In the spring of 2010, I became interested in finding out more about my father's family. My g-g-g-g grandfather, John P Lyle, settled in Paulding Co, Georgia, sometime before 1840. It is thought that he received land in the 1832 land lottery of the Cherokee lands. I worked on the LYLE family tree and then started looking for the graves of my extended family. I spend the majority of my time looking for graves in Paulding County and the counties that surround Paulding, such as Haralson, Polk, Bartow, Carroll, Douglas, Cobb and Cherokee. I have found this to be a great way to fill in those extra hours I now have in my life as a retired person.
I have to give credit to my brother, Tom 'CC' Lyle, and to my 1st cousin once removed, Dianne Eberhardt, for allowing me to use their genealogy research information in several of my FAG memorials.

Sarah Cristene Thompson Whitley
Hello, I'm inquiring about Sarah #148163235 . I noticed at the top of her bio, you wrote still trying to confirm her name. I have a Clarence Whitley in my line. On his census is says Mother Sarah, Father Joe Whitley. On Clarence buried record it says Mother Nancy Hoffer (Nancy Jane Whitley Fannin Hoffer born. 1873-1969. Nancy is in my created memorials. Wondering if this might be a connection?? Thanks so much for any help. I never knew Nancy or her family. TBRD

RE: death certifices
Sandy, can you give a name as to who it was for, I can look it up with that. I have found so many with in correct info, you wouldn't believe. That is why I ask that they not be put on the memorials.
Thank you greatly.

Billie Vice
Paulding County
Hello I am Billie Vice, I am researching my family and in my family on my mother's father's side is Starnes, Graves, and Kennedy and all of these families all came from Paulding County, around Pumpkinvine Creek. This has led me to the Kennedy Family Cemetery in Paulding County. I can find it on here but unable to find directions to the actual graveyard. I have proof of the ones in my family so that is not the problem I would just like to go take pictures and see these graves for myself. Please feel free to message me back. Thank you in advance. Billie Vice...
