In the spring of 2010, I became interested in finding out more about my father's family. My g-g-g-g grandfather, John P Lyle, settled in Paulding Co, Georgia, sometime before 1840. It is thought that he received land in the 1832 land lottery of the Cherokee lands. I worked on the LYLE family tree and then started looking for the graves of my extended family. I spend the majority of my time looking for graves in Paulding County and the counties that surround Paulding, such as Haralson, Polk, Bartow, Carroll, Douglas, Cobb and Cherokee. I have found this to be a great way to fill in those extra hours I now have in my life as a retired person. |
I have to give credit to my brother, Tom 'CC' Lyle, and to my 1st cousin once removed, Dianne Eberhardt, for allowing me to use their genealogy research information in several of my FAG memorials.

|Billie Vice||Paulding County|
Hello I am Billie Vice, I am researching my family and in my family on my mother's father's side is Starnes, Graves, and Kennedy and all of these families all came from Paulding County, around Pumpkinvine Creek. This has led me to the Kennedy Family Cemetery in Paulding County. I can find it on here www.findagrave.com but unable to find directions to the actual graveyard. I have proof of the ones in my family so that is not the problem I would just like to go take pictures and see these graves for myself. Please feel free to message me back. Thank you in advance. Billie Vice...

Hi Sandy. Back on August 8, 2016 I sent you a SAC about memorials you created for Horace Victor Kiser 167868115 and his wife Ollie Teague Kiser 167869991. Both already had memorials in Hollybrook Cemetery with spelling of last name different from your spelling. Their family name monument and foot monuments spell the name Kizer and both have pictures of these monuments on their memorials.

I looked in ancestry.com to see if they had any info on his burial, but they did not. My guess is that he is buried at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Dallas, Paulding County. That is my best guess.

|Rosannah Denton||Father of John Denton|
You posted the grave of John Pinckney Denton in the New Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery, and I am hoping you have some knowledge of his father, Samuel Denton, born ca 1809 and died 1889 in Paulding County, Georgia. Can you help me with any information on John P. Denton's father?
We have been to Dallas, Georgia and to several cemeteries there, but have not found Samuel Denton. If you have any information or none, please advise me at email@example.com and help if you can. Thanks,

I'm Gwen Bell Darby and grand-daughter of Frank Marion Bell from Paulding, GA. I noticed you had put up a war registration for Frank bell on the Find A Grave site. Do you have any other information on Frank Bell? I would love to share anything I have as well, if we have common relatives.
Great to meet you!
