You're welcome, glad I could help.

With them being buried together (I didn't realize that) I'm starting to wonder if this (by the dates on the headstone) is Sophia Jane Davis!? The inscription on the headstone you posted (Thank You!) looks like it says "wife of A Perry Sr."? Amos M Perry (my 4th great grandfather) and Sophia are noted in a census from 1860 living in the Schul household, both noted as not able to read or write; Amos R Sr. and older brother Ben are also in the home. On that census, Amos M Perry is noted as being from NC, Ben's death certificate lists his father's birthplace as France. I believe Amos M and Sophia had a son named James A (though there is contradicting info out there). In the 1910 census James lists his parents as being from NC, but in 1930 it states they are from Scotland. But there is a huge age jump for James and his wife Melissa from once census to another, so i'm not sure if it's the same couple or not. [I'm finding multiple marriage records for a James Perry married to a Melissa, but they have different marriage dates and DOBs.] If it is, why wasn't James living with Amos and his family in the 1860 census. Confusing! I have found a Sophia J Davis in 1850 (Cumberland Co.) living in a house where the 'head' is not old enough to be her parents, but two other individuals are old enough to be her grandparents. I'm currently researching this side of the family and will let you know; but so far... i'm pretty confused until I can find some concrete documentation and make sense of it.

What a great joy to help people with their past, I really do enjoy it ! Sorry no luck on the baby girl Wasser 1962. Seached the whole cemetery, no headstone.

Yes I know where the cemetery was. It is now destroyed.

Well shiver me timbers - lol:) I was going to have his wife take the pic as she's taller than I am. Thanks for the vote of confidence. Have a Happy Easter.
