If you want to use my pictures in your family research files or whatever it is fine with me.

I am a direct descendant of the Richard Haines who left England aboard the ship "Amity" in 1682. He died on the ship and his wife and kids settled in NJ. Richard was my 6th Great Grandfather. There are a lot of Haines in the US from this Richard. Nathan Haines of OH was my Gr Grandfather. Ebenezer Haines who married Rebecca Berry was his father. Nathan Haines married Sarah Iiams in Grant Co., IN. I have also done a lot of research on the Iiams name. My Grandfather E. Morton Haines was born in Grant Co., IN in 1865 and moved to OR in 1892 where he lived out his life. I have a lot of family connections to Grant Co., IN.

RE: Brown's
Hi Nathan!
You are awesome! I worked with you before on my cousin's Brown-Johnson side. (my paternal family is Johnson) His mom was Edna Brown (Eleanor's sister) married to my Grandfather's brother McDonald Johnson. Maybe a couple more people I'm not thinking of, that you got info on for me.
That was a heck of a lot of money the Brown's on your side had back in the day! I did drive thru that area (I think) on our way home to NV from Banff a couple years ago. Fun to see there is still is a lot of farm land up in that area!!!
Thank you for all you do for others on Findagrave!!

RE: Bernadine Elaine Brown
You are too funny!!! I knew the reason there was two memorials for her. A lot of time I tend to like the duplicates better. But, can't have two! You know?! ;^}

Eleanor I. Brown
Find A Grave Memorial# 149940380, why did you decline my edit? Her parents are, Find A Grave Memorial# 149940217 (Clara St John Brown), and Find A Grave Memorial# 149980463 (Harry Wonderly Brown). She is my dad's 1st cousin's Aunt. Sister of his mother Edna Brown Johnson, who is linked to them. Both girls (Edna and Eleanor) were born in Illinois, then moved to Oregon with their parents.

RE: Robert
Sorry, I wasn't suggesting that yours be deleted, as yours are the good ones. I was suggesting that you gather information from the others and then tell the findagrave people to delete/merge those others and leave yours remaining.

RE: Zion Cemetery
Well, there is that! Indeed, yes I just happen to have an abundance of extra Kleenex on hand but for two totally different reasons. I am a midwife and have had the pleasure of many sweet babies this month and the other is a wedding!

As I think back over my visits to the cemetery, well, yea, there are those ugly buildings! My favorite two cemeteries ever where both in Australia......

Its like 50.00 online, I can get it way cheaper by going in person to vital records. But see what you can find out, it would be interesting to see what it says on it ;-) She would be in Portland vital records, so I could go down anytime really if you don't get anywhere with the county
