My family has been in Florida since 1855, and my husband and I live on the property that my great-grandfather, John Bland Hazel, bought in 1860.|
I have always been interested in family and local area history. When my husband and I met in West View Cemetery, Palatka, Florida in 1985, we started what has evolved into our County's cemetery website. It has grown greatly over the years with lots of assistance from interested volunteers.
Thank you for your interest.

Thank you for giving me the information on the Smith grave. I didn't make his memorial and the person who did made only one memorial 3 years ago! I have no personal information on the man's grave site. Just wanted a photo. His name is on the Viet Nam War Memorial in St Augustine.
Thank you for trying. I was thinking he had a military marker.

Hi Mary, just wanted you to know, I've already photographed the Tichenor's graves several months ago when I was photographing Ben Tichenor's grave, I could save you the trip and submit my photo's unless you already have them from your cemetery project. Anyway, just trying to save you a trip down to CC.

Hi Mary, I forgot to give you my email address firstname.lastname@example.org Please send whatever you can that might help me should I make the trip down there. I'd really appreciate it. Thank you so much. You are so helpful!!!

Thank you so much. His name was Merritt Lewis Hart and on the 1930 census it shows he worked as a Steward for the Elks. I have him on the 1915 census up here in Akron, NY where his father and grandfather are buried. I also have a copy of his WWI draft registration card 1917-1918 (from Massachusetts where it appears he was living with a relative after his divorce. I can't find him on a 1920 census at all. How sad, no marker. :( Thank you so much for the information.

Good evening Mary Murphy ;
It's such a coincidence that your name and one of my wife's N. Carolina share the same name - Mary Murphy !!
I'm contacting you to extend my Thanks & Respects for having posted a photo of my late Brother-in-Law's Veterans grave site ( anonymous ) .
I've been searching for many years until today ( 2-19-2014 ) to no avail , until I was in the midst of an Ancestry Search when I stumbled onto his FindaGrave photo , that also led me into discovering a Nephew I never knew I had ,and we connected immediately just this same afternoon .
My Brother in Law had a series of wives , all of whom were married simultaneously without benefit of Divorce . There were more than a few children who came from these illegal relationships between each of the wives , none of whom were aware of the others existence until he suddenly left at least 1 of them with a child , which resulted in a warrant for his arrest on charges of NO Child Support opened a can of worms for all 3 wives . My In Law was killed in a collision while being pursued by a Police officer and was buried in the cemetery which you have adopted .
Out of something bad , some good has come into my life , a new Nephew who has been longing for a family to care about him and I Thank you for doing what you do . A Measure of happiness has come into our Home here in Massachusetts
