Bio and Links
Bio Photo PLEASE use the EDIT to ask for transfers, with your ID # and the PHOTO REQUEST if you want a photo of the stone for EACH person listed. I try to get other family near the one requested in case they are not already listed, but if they are already listed it is nice if you also request them. I print off the requests from the computer, and the "notes" don't show if you ask for other family members. You have my permission to use my photos of the stones for your family records.

It is my wish that everyone is remembered, this is my way of helping make it happen. We all will make mistakes, I'm happy to make changes and transfer loved ones always hoping that you can add to their memorials. I just want to help, when I find more information and send an edit, it is sad when that isn't added. I am so thankful for the ones that put family of ours on, some we had no idea where were, so you can see what a blessing Find A Grave has been.

Today this seems to be the case- Author Unknown
An old man, a boy and a donkey were going to town. The boy rode on the donkey and the old man walked. As they went along the road they passed some people who remarked, "What a shame the old man is walking and the boy is riding." The man and boy thought maybe the critics were right, so they changed positions. Later they passed some people who remarked, "What a shame, he makes that little boy walk." So they then decided they'd both walk. Soon they passed some more people who remarked, "They're really stupid to walk when they have a donkey to ride." So they both rode the donkey. Now they passed some people who shamed them by saying, "How awful to put such a load on a poor donkey?" The boy and man figured they were probably right, so they decided to carry the donkey. As they crossed the bridge, they lost their grip on the donkey and he fell into the river and drowned. The moral to the story? If you try to please everybody, you might as well kiss your ass goodbye!

Having expressed this I have to say, most all of the people are easy to please. There are occasionally some who aren't, it is extremely hard to read people's minds. If you send information try to tell us how you want it added or used. It is really helpful if you send it directly to that persons memorial page, but I'll do my best to add & give credit to you however you get it to me. Thank you all who have sent links and info to make memorials more then just names and dates!

Mary & Bessie Snabl
Luella, these 2 sisters were very close, and had no children. Mary Snabl Sturgeon and Bessie Snabl Rexroth. They and their husbands are buried together. I see that other siblings are linked to each other in FindaGrave but there is not opportunity to suggest a link now, just parent and spouse. Anyway of linking them as siblings? Mary's memorial # is 143042383, Bessie's is 65909888. Thanks for anything you can do! Sharla

Franklin B. Wiar
Good Morning, Luella! Could you transfer Franklin B. Wiar, Table Rock Cemetery, Table Rock, Nebraska to me? He was my Great grandfather and I would like to update the memorial. Thank-You!

Puzzle Pieces
I'm also trying to put this famuily together by searching Ancestry census and other records that do list the family, etc.
If we lived in the area then we could check the court records, etc. Oh well. Maybe some day.
Thanks for all that you do, Marsha

RE: Denver Strouf
Nope not related. If his grave was located in Manitowoc County I would be asking for our website. Just passing the story along for other folks.

RE: Odell/Czech Cemetery
Thanks for letting me know someone is working on getting the duplicate cemeteries merged. That's no fun, so I sympathize!) (Odell Czech Cemetery makes perfect sense to me since that's the name at the entrance!) Re: Ullmans and Porters...maybe. Some escaped from Ohio and traveled west, so every now and then I find a runaway, but I've not found any in Nebraska...yet! They all seemed to pick Illinois & Kansas, and a few made it to California.
