|Bio and Links|
The vast majority of pages I've added to Find-a-Grave are for strangers. I'm always happy to transfer pages to people who know something about these strangers. If you would like for me to transfer a page to you, please let me know (preferably by clicking on "edit" and then "suggest correction" since that will provide both a link to the page and a link to your contributor page with the necessary ID# for the transfer). NOTE: I AM TALKING ABOUT ANY PAGE ANYBODY WANTS (except for the very small number of pages I've created for my own relatives). I do not care how close kin you are or whether you are kin at all. I see no point in keeping a page for somebody I know nothing about when somebody out there does have a connection of some kind -- any kind.|
I live in Jackson (Hinds County), Mississippi, and love "graving," whether here in central Mississippi or in other places when I'm traveling. If you find errors in my listings, please send me corrections.
A note about photo requests: If you make a request for Lakewood Memorial Park, Lakewood South, or Cedar Lawn, please include the section and plot number.

I have found the correct gravesite for Joel Blackwell Arendale and Elizabeth Dare Arendale and have added the graveyard to Findagrave and included memorials and pictures.
Please change the links to the mother and father of your memorial to these:
Joel B. Arendale 166099824
Elizabeth Dare Arendale 166103013
The old links were to another graveyard that did not contain their graves (only a memorial marker).

Natalie, thank you for all your contributions to the Findagrave website. I would like permission to use your photographs of my relatives' grave sites in my Family Tree files. I use the photos as source media and will gladly give you credit for your work. Becky

Natalie, thank you so much for all the transfers. That will keep me busy for awhile!

Very good and thank you. I knew about the different death dates. Let me look at it again.
Again thanks, we do not need to create any more confusion

It would appear the two following memorials are the same man.
Chanavee - Lt, J K P Cotton # 120186967
Maynor - Private J R P Cotton # 13152556
He was a Lt. when killed.
I have his date of death. Wounded May 31st, Died June 01st, 1863
I would urge the two memorials be merged rather than any one be simply deleted.
James Earl (Sam) Priceied to E mail direct. Do not know.

Thank you for catching that discrepancy. Please end the bio info I sent with a period after 1891 and omit the sexton's reference to the lot in Section 6. Mrs. Sheehan's beautiful monument is definitely in the Section 2 lot -- there are Farrells who are relatives in the Section 6 lot.
|Alex P. Reed||RE: Annie Laurie Hearin|
Her birth date was listed in the Mississippi directory in the 1940s. Death was circa July 1988, although I don't know if her family declared her legally dead.

All I did was change my name and email where you edit your account. Never paid attention that it made another account. Will have to get rid of the new one.
