I am 22 years old and I have been interested in my family history for quite sometime now. I am especially interested in the Farmer, Porter, Danley, Pitt, Hulsey and Woodard familes in Robertson County, TN and the Reid and Eden families which were more concentrated in Macon County, TN. I will be glad to help anyone in any way I can. I love to go to cemeteries and take photos. It's not work for me, but a hobby so feel free to ask me to go find a grave for you. Also, if anyone knows anything on the listed families above in the listed locations above, please let me know!|
Before I give you concrete information, I will exhaust all my resources to make sure said information is true (censuses, death and birth records, whatever) before I tell you something indefinitely. If I cannot prove something via legal records, I may suggest something about it but I will tell you I have no indefinite proof. If I have proof, and you don't change it, then oh well, I can't do anything about it. I will NEVER get on bad terms with anyone on this site. There is nothing on a website that honors the deceased that should have people fighting with each other. Although I will still stand my ground when I know something to be true. I will agree to disagree in other words.
I am currently working on cemeteries in Houston County, TN ever since I found and bought a great big cemetery book at a Goodwill in Clarksville. If you have any questions concerning someone buried in Houston County, I may be able to help you.
Mangement transfer should happen for three reasons and three reasons only (in my opinion):
1. Deceased is a direct realtive within four generations (children, grand-children, great-gradnchildren

Joseph, thank you for helping all of us FAR AWAY from the TN cemeteries. I sent you a personal email with my request for the McMillan Clan buried at this remote cemetery...which looks like it may now be on private land.

Thank you so much ... We just discovered the correct burial place for Eddy (Eddie) very recently.

Your welcome. I went past it twice before I found the cemetery also. From Dickson turn left on Sylvia Rd. (towards the Airport) then Right to Maysville Rd then abt 100 feet turn right on Old Sylvia Rd. Just before the first turn in the road you will see a light color brick driveway entrance on the left before the first house on the right. If you look on the brick you will see it says Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The cemetery is set up up the hill so it is hard to see from the road thru the trees.
Hi Joseph, I too have Farmer in my direct line. I am blessed to have talked with several living in Cheatham County, TN., Robertson County, TN no longer living but shared an old Farmer Family Bible entries with me. If these names sound familiar with you; Nathaniel David " Andie" Farmer married Lucinda Caroline Binkley having a large family. My great great grandmother was their daughter, Elizabeth Ann " Eliza" Farmer married Andrew Jonathan " Jack" Green having large family. If you want me to share the entries of the bible, let me know. It is rare to find old bibles with birth, marriages entered in it. Thank You. Carolyn
