JERRY POSING AT THE ELLIFF FAMILY PLOT IN MCDONALD COUNTY, MISSOURI.|
I always knew that I would do some kind of volunteer work upon retiring. I came upon Find A Grave while researching our (wife and I) ancestry. I have never enjoyed photography, but I truly enjoy claiming, locating, taking pictures, and posting the marker/headstone for the requestors. My biggest disappointment is finding that a gravesite does not have a marker or headstone.
I do volunteer photos, but I also enjoy taking photos of markers for the veterans interred at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona and posting them to the memorial that was established by another volunteer.
I served 20 years in the United States Air Force retiring as an E7 (Master Sergeant) 1961-1981.
After retiring from the AF I was employed by the Drug Enforcement Administration as a Federal Investigator and accountant.

Thank you, believe it probably is. I don't know if when I left the message I couldn't find James, who knows. Usually if I can find both in the same cemetery I am usually satisfied. I guess since it wasn't a dual stone I was just trying to clarify before I said yes.

I haven't confirmed it was her. That's why I left the question hoping maybe a family member would respond and say yes. Dona Martin was my grandfathers sister.

No, thank you very much.

Would you please remove your photo from this memorial?

May I have your permission to download the gravestone photo for Leslie & Mildred Christenson? I would like to use it on my family tree on Ancestry -- with photo credit to you, of course. Thank you for your consideration. ~Barb

Yeah it is confusing. It is only because I took the cemetery photo.
But I can't make the choice to have it on your memorial or not. You do that.

I went to the memorial and it does not say that for me.
I went to a memorial I added and it does say that for me.
So if you create the memorial, you have the option of having the photo show or not.
If you click on the tab, a box will show up asking you if you are sure you want to do it. Click okay and it will not show anymore, but you then have a new tab on the page that states restore the cemetery photo.

Thank you for the service you do our veterans. My father-in-law, Alvin Walter, Sr. is one of the graves you added.
