Bowls family in Drummond, Mt
Hi John,
I have added a number of Bowls family members in the Valley Cemetery near Drummond, MT. If you are related or know anything about them let me know & I will transfer. I spelled the name Bowls as it appears on the headstone but feel free to change any you take over. There is also a Katherine (Rowls) Weaver. I have not come across the name Rowls in our area and am wondering if the engraver mistook the 'B' for an 'R'. Could her maiden name actually be Bowls? Any info you might have would be appreciated.
Thanks, Barb

RE: Bowls, Bowles family
Yes, deciding how to spell names is always a challenge. I photographed a Larsen and right next to that stone was the father's stone spelled Larson. One of the many challenges for genealogists!

John L Williams
No problem, I looked a few times, there are 60+ John Williams listed but none of them died in 1925 and none are buried in Sierra Lawn.

re: Caldwell family
I am helping a DAR sister look up info about her father's family = the Caldwells. She is a daughter to Guy Milton Caldwell, and a granddaughter to Charles Julius. Can you point me to where she should look for more info on Tarlton Caldwell? I found Charles Julius' death certificate on Missouri Digital Heritage and lists his birthplace as Vinton, Iowa. Have you done any research in Iowa yet? I will help how I can = I live near a major genealogy library in the KC.MO area.

Harry Stewart at Evergreen Cemetery, Colorado Springs
Hi John- I found the plot where Harry Stewart is buried. Unfortunately, there is no stone for him, although there is for a Virginia Stewart who I assume is his wife. The cemetery also said there is a grave behind where Harry is buried, which is a Wiley Steward. I am not sure whether this is a related person. If you're interested, you can see the proximity of the graves on the Evergreen website (http://www.springsgov.com/cemetery/DesktopDefault.aspx?tabindex=1&tabid=2). Just search for Harry, then go to "Click for Map." The grave is on the north side of the block.
