Bio and Links
Bio Photo The photo here is a pretty good metaphor. I would be the duck on the far left.

I believe in Random Acts of Kindness of all kinds. I have a virtual cemetery for memorials that could use some tokens of remembrance. The contents change periodically and I try to keep the number between 10-15, but sometimes it's larger, like now, as I create memorials for the infant burials at a local cemetery.

I also have virtual cemeteries for deceased firefighters, mostly from Michigan, and a few police officers. Please visit them if you can.

I love animals and am currently owned by a 14-year old beagle named Mollie Brown. We still miss her pal, Buddy, who died in Sept. 2013. His memorial is in my Brown Family virtual cemetery.

I have added photos of both tombstones and people to memorials created by others. Between Dec 2-4, 2013 I also deleted 40 of my memorials that were shown to be duplicates when two cemeteries were merged. I didn't particularly enjoy doing that but mine were the later entries so...

Although I will always make mistakes, I try to follow these guidelines:

"Assume good faith."
"Use good manners."
"Don't bite the newcomers."

Please don't bite me. I already have enough wounds and scars to last a lifetime.

Hallelujah! Tax season is over. I hope the arrival of spring lifts your spirit as it does mine,
CarmasKid, 16 April 2015

RE: Chiles photo requests at Oak Ridge Cemetery
Sorry to take out frustrations on you. I've had many people using the public message forum lately asking things about a family I have many memorials for and also many with the same first name. It's time consuming to sift through each of them and try to figure out which they are referring to. That doesn't excuse my rudeness to you.

I did a bit of research and found that I have an obituary posted for John Charles Chiles (#96395055) that gives his burial as Oak Ridge Cemetery, Flat Rock, MI. I looked up the county that cemetery is in and assumed this Oak Ridge Cemetery would be the correct one as it is in the same county as Flat Rock and didn't find any others in that same county. Do you know of another Oak Ridge Cemetery that would be in or near Flat Rock, MI? I'm nowhere near there and have no knowledge of MI, so if you have the time your assistance would be most appreciated.

Thank you for your time and please, again, accept my apologies.

RE: Ronald Grayson grave photo
You are more than welcome. I went to the link for his father and was impressed with his life story, including his move from Poland and how hard he worked to make a life for themselves. I knew I needed to help document his son's resting place.
