I believe in Random Acts of Kindness of all kinds. |
I have a virtual cemetery for memorials that could use some tokens of remembrance. The contents change periodically and I try to keep the number between 10-15, but sometimes it's larger. I also have virtual cemeteries for deceased firefighters, mostly people from Michigan who died in the line of duty, and a few police officers. Please visit them if you can.
I'm not perfect and never will be, but I try to follow these guidelines:
"Assume good faith."
"Use good manners."
"Don't bite the newcomers."
I have stopped working on "The Wyandotte Death Index" after fixing my errors. I have deleted 253 memorials, wiping out most of my work from 2015. What a pain it can be, sometimes, to own your own mistakes!
I have been deeply troubled by the massacre at the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida on 12 June 2016. No one can undo the deaths but I believe we have the power to fight violence with kindness.
I have made up some Random Acts of Kindness business-size cards in memory of those who died; one for each of the 49 people. You do something kind for a stranger, large or small, and pass the card to them. They continue on... Anyone who would like to take one card (or more if you wish) and begin its journey, can drop me a message via e-mail to email@example.com. Make sure you give me your address, and I will send you a card.
Wishing you all a Happy Independence Day!

Click on the cemetery name and you'll see that it is also called McWhorter Cemetery.

No I didn't know that, but will be glad to add that it is a cenotaph to the memorials.

I don't doubt your info, but it might not hurt to double check the data. Not necessary to send me a copy or respond unless it turns out to be different from what my memorial shows.
Thanks for your input.

Thank you for the information. It has been added. However, since the death record is clearly written and gives the name R. H., I have made a note about that in the bio section. Perhaps the recorder inadvertently used the mother's initials.
|Lillian Fisher Curylo||RE: Beverly G. Kuderik|
I looked at your link and it appears to be the same person. I think her maiden name is Dotson and I think she's related to Theodore Cyril Kuderik, maybe his wife? I know she's associated with his name in public files (misc. internet sites). Theodore's mother is my great grandmother; he's the brother of my paternal grandmother, Lillian Frances Kuderik. I don't know if Beverly is still alive because I can't locate an address for her - everything I've seen has a 1990s date associated with it. I'm going to keep looking and will let you know. My time to look is a little limited since I work a lot during the week, so please bare with me. Thanks for the update!
