RE: Lola Carlton
Hi Skye,

I see I confused you even more.
Hester Wright West who married John T West was the daughter of Joshua Wright and Hester?(Unknown)
Josiah Wright was the brother of Hester Wright West who married John T. West. Josiah Wright did marry Peggy Ferguson. You are confusing Joshua Wright with his son Josiah.
Hester Wright Wests father Joshua was born 1723 in Maryland and died 1794 in Rockingham Co., NC. His daughter Hester Wright West was named after his wife Hester. Hope this makes sense.

>great-great-granddaughter of John Thomas West (1776 VA--1816) and Hester Wright (1780-1840 VA, dau of Josiah Wright and Peggy Ferguson<

The above is my family. Would love to share notes if you are related. Wanted to add a correction to the above. Hester and Joshua Wright were the parents of Hester Wright who married John Thomas West. Josiah was Hester and Joshua's son.

It is my feeling that we do see eye to eye. I'm very new to Find a Grave so I'm learning the ins & outs. It was easier when I lived in Ohio to take time to visit cemeteries. But now I live in Colorado, so I depend on great people like you to help me get correct documentation. I may not have the actual picture of the grave stone, but I do have copies of some of my families burial locations at St. John's Cemetery. The updated information on names comes from 30+ years of working on Family History.

I'm in the process of adding all the family names of those who are dead, thank you for telling me how to add them (as I am off the month of July from the Family History Center here in La Jara, Colorado I hope to add more names of documented people using birth, marriage, death, & census records. When I first found out about Find a Grave about 5 yrs. ago I was excited that I found so much documentation but not much on my direct line. Now that I've found some of the documentation needed, I will be adding them shortly.

It's to great people like you & all your hard work that is not always appreciated, yet you still give most of your time. If it wasn't for your hard work I would not have known where my brother & mother were buried. And for this I am extremely grateful.

Yes that is so very true the documentation is important, from what I have experienced in working on Family History, this site is used as direct source for documentation. So it is my feelings that information about my father Leo T Higgins should be listed on his page. I have the names of Leo & Margaret Higgins son that died at birth, as well as the sister of my father who died at birth. My parents have 2 granddaughter's Stacy Marie Soltis 1969 - & Theresa Marie Soltis 1975. I would like added to my name Margaret Kathleen Higgins, Soltis, Sullivan. This is why I feel so strong about making those corrections it is very important to have correct information listed.

I need to figure out how I can list family members if I don't have burial information. And as I have found their burial information I will gladly update it.

Thanks so much for your help in this matter.
