Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was raised in Bradford Co., PA on a farm. My interest in genealogy was sparked by my lack of grandparents on my father's side, since he was adopted. So I traced my Rockwell side back to the Rev. War. I like historical research, so what better place to focus my interest on - cemeteries. My wife's ancestors are from Sullivan Co., PA so my main focus is on Bradford & Sullivan Counties in Pennsylvania. I am on the volunteer photographer e-mail list so will take a photo for you when requested.

You have my permission to use any picture taken by me for personal uses. It takes much time and effort to locate, process, and post these images I have posted, so I expect and appreciate the courtesy of citing your source!

If any of the memorials I have created need updates, please contact me. If any are a relative of yours and you want to manage them, let me know and I will transfer them. Please use the edit tab and SAC to ask for a transfer or update.

Della May Jones
Recently you added a memorial and gravestone photo for Della, #125654303, at Tioga Point Cemetery. There is a larger story here that you may be able to help us find. Della and her husband Nelson (Joseph) were originally married in 1902 in Summerhill, Cayuga, NY. In 1913, with five children, they left four in childrens' home in Cortland, NY; one was on his own. 30 Apr 1913, they remarried in Sayre, PA. The 1920 U.S. Census, Athens, listed Nelson and Della with three new children and a forth was born in 1922. Now we have her death certificate, describing her death a result of 3rd degree burns, sustained from her clothing have caught fire. She died, 3 months later, 27 Apr 1923, the accident happened about 17 or 18 Jan 1923. We thought maybe since you reside in the area, you might have access to a newspaper article descrbing the details of her accident. Would that be possible?

Her husband died at Robert Parker Hospital, 26 Jan 1935, and was buried at Riverside Cemetery, Towanda, Bradford, PA. No memorial found.

A family member passed this information on to me. I had suggested that she contact you, hopefully that hasn't happened yet.

Phelps Family
I came upon your Phelps family listings. I too am researching the Phelps family. You have quite a bit of information on Andrew Phelps who would have been my great grandfather Laporte Phelps brother. I didn't know if maybe you had more information on Laporte's line. I am trying to find his daughter Evelyn who I believe is buried somewhere in Bradford Co., PA. I don't have a death date for her. She could be using Hildebrant or Nesbitt. I did just find Laporte's death certificate and his burial in Powell Cemetery, (not listed on Find A Grave). The information is from his death certificate. Hopefully you can help. Thanks Norene
