| Bio and Links | | I have done genealogy for my family many years. I am also a look-up volunteer for several genealogy websites. Now I am in the process of mapping the Burns, OR cemetery and making a list of all the burials there, marked or not. I am trying to make sure all of them are posted on Find A Grave. Due to the large number of graves I have added (over 2,000 and still adding), I do not have the time to personally add info to the individual graves. I am very willing to transfer ownership of any of the Burns graves so the proper info can be added to each one. | |

I spotted the names you entered into the Burns Cemetery in Harney co OR
They are my SIL grandparents and uncle Emil. Theycame from St Joseph MO in the late 1920's. He was a stonemason-Joesph Cueni.
If you wish to transfer them to me I can fill in all the pertinent info and some obits I have obtained.

We searched Bethel Baptist and could not find Julius Brookshire. I consulted a book listing all graves at that cemetery and it shows that in 1986 Julies E Brooksher (1854 - 1856) was buried between LH Brooksher and Vesta Knight. Next to Vesta is Julies' sister Charlotte. We confirmed this and took the photos today.
The gravestone for Julies was noted in 1986 as broken but is now missing. All that is left of it is the base. I uploaded photos of two angles of the base of Julies' gravestone next to his parents Clarissa & LH.
