Bio and Links
Bio Photo Please let me know if any of my memorials need correction. If I've made a duplicate it was accidental and I'll gladly remove mine if you let me know. For corrections, to add additional information please use the Edit tab on the memorial.

Please, please, please -- Don't scrape headstones or use shaving cream, chalk or anything else to "enhance" the inscription. Regardless of what you have been told it does not wash completely off and causes long term damage. There are other ways to get a good photograph without harming the stone. And even though it's sad, some markers will never be legible.

Due to bad behavior by a few contributors, I will usually transfer memorials only within Find A Grave's 4-generation rule. I'm sorry that a few have spoiled it for others.

I do NOT link to "burial unknowns"; however I will make appropriate notes in the bio field. Otherwise I'll gladly make family links.

If you would like to use my photos please ask first. I will almost always give permission as long as photo credit is given to the Find A Grave memorial.

Many thanks to all who have helped me along the way. I hope to be able to pay it forward.

Note: I am doing random corrections of memorials with no last name. Nothing personal, please take no offense. Thank you.

RE: Beatrice Cole Warnock
All the records I researched listed her name as Beatrice Cole or Beatrice Warnock, except the following Arkansas marriage record:

Elizabeth Beatrice Cole
DeKalb, Mississippi

Spouse's Name:
Raiford T Warnock
Spouse's Gender:
Spouse's Residence:
Atlanta, Georgia
Event Type:
Marriage Bond

FHL Film Number:

So I listed her full name as shown on her marriage record. Thanks so much for posting the many Find-A-Grave Memorials, which provide genealogy researchers with loads of information!! Any time I can add or enhance other folks' Memorials that I am using, I am glad to do so.

RE: Alice Fenner
yes it is.
it was taken christmas day. i cropped it from the original which shows my dad and other siblings in the foreground. that is my grandmother holding me (recently widowed). with all the bustle of the day she is concentrating on me. i am sure i helped her through a very rough time. this was the second husband she buried. i was always close to her and i think this picture shows why we had a bond. i think of her every day. she passed away in 1992. the orginal picture is on display in my livingroom. thanks for asking.

RE: Alice Fenner
You certainly cleared that up. Thank you for the information and all the work you do. I know sometimes it goes unnoticed, but i appreciate your efforts and dedication. This is a huge commitment that most of us do not take lightly. Enjoy the rest of your day.

I am back and forth about the last name issue.
I finally decided to enter it for her maiden name since she was never married. I was thinking that to enter it in the last name field vs maiden name some may be under the assumption she was married and the maiden name was unknown.
What is the general rule for that and why? I hope you can explain that to me plus it will help others who may or may not read your response.
Thank you for your time.

Why do you want me to remove the memorial, so you can claim it? It does exist in the cemetery as it states in the plot section to where it is located. Check it out will you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

RE: Janice Lowrey and Shirley Allen
Changes made. I was confused as to how 'maiden name' was used for someone who was never married. thanks!
