Thank You!
Thank you so much for all the work you have done with regard to my Fortner kin at Thomas Cemetery, Newport, IN. I am sorry that I am just getting this to you.

Kind regards,

Ali Romanov

RE: George Kelley's Grave Marker

I was able to contact George Elmer Kelley's son, Ken. Here is what he said, "My father moved to be near my sister in AK - his grave is there - my mother's grave is in FL. - Best Ken."

So you had the right idea. Hope this information helps.

RE: George Kelley's Grave Marker

George Elmer Kelly in my tree was married to Ellen Louise Williams. The marker that I recognize is the one on his memorial. From my mother-in-law's testimony, he was visiting them in Indiana when he died. I believe, at the time, they were residing in Florida, so all that makes sense.

I don't have any documentation for his death other than the social security index. That matches what my mother-in-law said.

Not sure about the Arkansas marker, but it could be as you said. Nice job of sleuthing :)

RE: George Kelley's Grave Marker

The George William Kelley I believe is buried in Gordon City Cemetery in Georgia. His wife was Lucy Mae Daniel. He was the great grandfather of my wife. I have not seen the grave markers but someone took a photo of their grave marker for me.

Eugene Cemetary

While you were in the Indiana area, did you happen to go to Eugene Township Cemetery? There might be Fortner relatives at that cemetery.

Iíll get back to you in a min. as my phone is ringing.

RE: Sylvania Cemetery
Yes, I'll be glad to help out with finishing the photos for Sylvania Cemetery. If you have a list of what needs to be completed, that would be a big help!

RE: Celia Fortner
Thank you, I was helping Celia's ggg-granddaughter. Your kindness is appreciated. I had some of her close kin folk, and have asked her if she wanted me to transfer them to her.
Thanks again for your kind offer.
