My name is Glenn. I enjoy taking photos of tombstones in the Ozaukee County area. I have been researching my ancestry for the past seven years and I love to find old records.
Kathy and I volunteer for the Ozaukee County Historical Society. We are in the process of photographing and documenting all the cemeteries in Ozaukee County.
If you have any questions about your Ancestry feel free to contact the Ozaukee County Historical Society at 262-377-4510. They are open every Tuesday from 9AM to 3 PM, the 2nd and 4th Monday night from 5 P.M.to 8 P.M. and the 2nd Saturday of each month from 9 A.M. to 11 A.M.
Recently individuals are submitting transfer requests without the required information.
I would appreciate if anyone requests a transfer, use the EDIT tab. The transfer request must contain the following information: Relationship; Parents, Siblings, Grandparents and Great Grandparents (which does not include Aunts/Uncles/Cousins) and your Find-A-Grave Contributor Number. A transfer cannot be completed without the contributor number. This will assist me in processing your request in a timely fashion.
PLEASE USE THE "EDIT" TAB FOR ANY AND ALL ADDITIONS, CORRECTIONS, TRANSFERS, ETC.
Maria Krebsbach I've updated Anton Krebsbach #80079723 (thanks for the transfer).
I also just submitted a name edit for spouse Maria Krebsbach #80215298.
Per Andrew Chiello's research published in "Krebsbach and Mueller Families" commissioned by Judy Schmitz (circa 1980's), her maiden name was Klapperich (coincides with the initial "K" on the grave stone.
RE: Franks According to Homestead High School, Peter Frank and his wife Anna Pauls Frank are buried on the property. They were the original owners of the land that the school is built on and when the property was sold to the school it was written in the agreement that their graves are not to be moved or disturbed. The Anna Frank you refer to was their grand daughter.
I do have a copy of the land grant to the Franks as issued by the US Government, one of the last ones done before statehood.
There is also a record of an abandoned cemetery in the area that list Peter and Anna as the only ones in it.
Ardith Stadler Hi Glenn & Kathy, Thanks for posting the picture of Ardith's death notice on her memorial at Saint Paul Cem. I forgot to send my request through the edit tab as I said I would. I appreciate your help. Julie
