Julia Alma Loveday: Mem# 41665415
I appreciate the strive for accuracy in all memorials. Please note the 1910 Census that was taken just a month or so before Julia Alma Loveday's death. If you would like, I can send a copy to your email since I can't attach a link to this message. I would appreciate her given name be accurate even though the headstone shows only Alma Loveday.

Description
Robert C Loveday 48 Mary M Loveday 38 Hugh E Loveday 18 Minnie P Loveday 16 Homer D Loveday 12 Katie B Loveday 9 Ray J Loveday 7 Julia A Loveday 3

Source Citations: 1910 United States Federal Census: Civil District 4, Enumeration District 0137 Sevier, Tennessee; page 6 or 26 lines 76-83. Most of the family went by their middle name but the 1910 census lists given first name and middle initial. Thank you for your consideration. Nina

Hattie McMahan
Hattie McMahan (6300794) is not buried in Walnut Grove cemetery, but in the cemetery across the street with her husband. That is the Stafford cemetery. There is a memorial in that cemetery for her. (50521699)

Hi Dee,

Thanks for the duplication notice. I guess it was just brain gas. :-)

amazing work! great contributions! and love your suggestions about not adding photos having been taken using any sort of chemical on the stone!!!! kudos to you! breaks my hearts seeing so much damage done with good intentions but improper procedures...I liken it to tearing out pages of a history book so that someone can look closer at the page...

James B. Underwood
Hi, I am descended from James B. Underwood (b. 1838 in Sevier Co., TN, d. unk) through his daughter, Malinda Payne Underwood Hancock, who was my Great Grandfather's (C.B. Hancock) mother. I noticed on Find-A-Grave you all have his death date as being in 1928 per family records. Can you elaborate more on this record? The reason I ask is because per his Civil War Pension Index, his date of death was 1-15-1920 in Kodak, TN. I wanted to clarify because I recently saw how bad his marker is. I think I can get the VA to replace it with an upright granite marker. Before I started the application process, I want to make sure that I have the correct dates. Please email me at hammit1982@gmail.com or message me on here. I can email you a copy of the Pension Index. Thank you!
