Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a native of Ashland, Kentucky, and live in Elmore County, Alabama. I have pictures of Nicholls and Jones graves in Ashland, Kentucky. I have photographed graves in Elmore and Montgomery Counties, in Alabama, and recently in Accomack County, Virginia, and Worcester County, Maryland, where I visit from time to time.

It is wonderful to be a member of Find A Grave. I have received grave photos of relatives buried far away, whose graves it is unlikely than I will ever to be able to visit. They died in 1899, 1900, and 1915, in three different towns, and I had thought the graves might be unmarked. To receive excellent pictures of the three monuments was thrilling, and I am truly grateful.

Thank you
Jerri, I cannot thank you enough for your time, kindness and generosity. The emotions one feels when seeing a headstone for the first time of a family member is just overwhelming. Thank you for also leaving a memorial for my Grandfather. He was a very special man. I hope you know that what you give to others is so very much appreciated. May your kindness be returned to you tenfold. Please let me know if I may return the favor. If you had any expense please do not hesitate to let me know as I will gratefully reimburse you. Blessed be my friend. Denece

RE: E R Brewer Photo
Ah! That's so exciting! My Isaac Brewer (1763-1852)'s brother lived in Coosa County. It is so awesome that you live in that general vicinity! I'm so jealous! Ha ha. I am anxious to go to Talladega/St. Clair Counties to do Brewer research and take pictures as soon as I am able. I was hoping for this summer, but it's looking like the trip will have to wait a bit longer. I especially want to go to the courthouse in Talladega and look for Isaac's will. It's so strange that I can't find it in the index, because his widow said he had one written up. It was probably indexed wrong or has been lost. I also want to go to his old farm and take pictures, walk where he walked, etc. Why, oh why, must I live so far away? LOL. I will get there eventually though. Anyway, have a wonderful visit in Virginia! I'll talk to you later. Take care!

Thank you so much! And wow, that obituary is priceless! If you would like to email back and forth about Brewer info, my email address is desertsand_2@yahoo.com I love to visit with distant cousins. I am descended through Howell Brewer Sr, by the way, so our common ancestor is George Brewer (1686-1744). I live in Alberta, Canada. Have a wonderful day!

Hi Jerri!
Thank you so much for posting the photo of Edward Rawleigh Brewer (Memorial# 19909242). It is beautiful! Are you a Brewer descendant as well? I was wondering if I might have your permission to post this photo onto my Brewer ancestors website (isaacbrewer-familyhistory.blogspot.com) If so, who would you like me to list as the source, or would you rather I just link back to his memorial? Thank you for your time and, again, for posting the photo.

Hi Jerri,

Oh sorry, I used her name from the gravestone.

Her name was Caroline Isabell Tucker Bush. She married Whitie Sanford Bush, the brother to my grandfather Caswell Casper Bush. My grandparents were Euel Casper Bush and Nancy Ruth Sullivan Bush, whose daughter Bonnie Ruth Bush was my mother. Bonnie married my father Lively Darr Jr, my birth name was Nancy Carrol Darr.

Always, Nan

RE: George McMichael
Jeri, thank you so very much. You have no idea how much it means to me. I am confused about something and maybe you might be able to help alleviate that. My Grandfather's death certificate states burial at Salem Methodist Cemetery in Pocomoke City. He lived in Salisbury so that makes sense. However, when I look on Find A Grave, I see 2 Salem cemeteries. Do you know if they are different cemeteries? I have tried to find a number to call them and get the plot information but can't seem to find one. Please let me know any leg work that needs to be done and I will gratefully do it. This is my first time asking for assistance. I hope I am doing everything right. If not, you just yell at me! :) Thank you again from the bottom of my heart. Have a wonderful day!
