Bio and Links
Bio Photo "A Walk Through Time" is an event held each year on the 2nd Sunday in Oct with the proceeds going to the preservation of Forrest Cemetery in Gadsden, AL. We are already working on the 2015 event. We will have some returning favorites as well as new characters. The portrayers will be dressed in period dress and will tell the life stories of some of Gadsden's famous and not so famous citizens. The event is free but donations are encouraged and we are a 501 (c)(3) organization so donations are tax deductible. It's the most fun you'll ever have in a cemetery! Hope to see you there.

John Walker Taylor
RE: Paul C. Norris and Mary Heath
I am not related; I would accept the documents. Perhaps I could add some of the new info to their memorial pages.

Sorry it's been so long for me to respond, but the answer to your question is yes Mary Dooly Ruark is my great great grand mother, coming from her son James Weyman Ruark.

He is not buried in Cave Hill National Cemetery. He's in Cave Hill Cemetery, Sec. O, Lot 250, #77. Most of the Confederate soldiers are buried outside of, but adjacent to the National cemetery at Cave Hill.
