I am retired and live in Central North Carolina. I have been doing family research for 40 years. The internet just makes it easier to look for dead relatives, but you still have to make sure the information is correct.
Some of my favorite cemeteries are Bonaventure in Savanah, Ga, Allegheny in Pittsburgh, Pa and Oakdale in Wilmington, NC. I love the old statues and the hidden meanings of different designs of headstones.

I am glad to enter corrections, links and additional information. Please use the Edit tab on the memorial and click on the Suggest a Correction link. Do not email transfer requests or corrections. Please use the Edit tab on the memorial.
ADDENDUM: Photographs I have taken at burial locations may be used by others for any legitimate purpose. Hopefully, I would be given credit for the work. Personal photographs I have added to memorials that I created and maintain, remain in my control and are considered copyrighted materials. I hope that you will enjoy viewing the personal photographs I have posted.
Please visit my dear friend Pam who died much too soon.

|Karyl White||Your inspiring Friendship|
I ran across you on here and I want you to know your love for your friend touches my heart. I did visit her memorial and left her flowers. I know it was a blessing for her to be in your life and I know you must miss her terribly. I have a dear friend I just recently had purchased quote hanging for that reads: "Friends are Gods way of letting us know we don't have to walk alone".I am sending you virtual hugs!

I wasn't aware but I don't think I'm related to any of them. Thanks anyway!

Many thanks for your headstone photography. I know what's involved in traveling to the cemetery, finding the plots, sometimes cleaning the headstones, taking the pictures, and uploading them; all for a perfect stranger. I really appreciate your efforts.
Thanks and best regards, Karl Hamlin
Hi Becky, just a note to let you know I deleted the duplicate memorial. If you find additional errors or want any of my memorials transferred to you please let me know.

Thank you for the lovely photo you took of the Holt headstone! I was wondering if anyone would bother claiming my request since it is in a large cemetery and would require a lot of walking around to find it. Thanks for taking the time to do so.
