|Bio and Links|
San Diego has some of the best Find a Grave contributors who are doing an amazing job of documenting our local cemeteries. If you need a grave photo there is no shortage photo volunteers. If you are looking for an obituary, cemetery information or advice we have volunteers happy to help you. |
If you are new to Find a Grave and want to start contributing in the San Diego area please read the FAQs or reach out to someone with your questions.
Please always do a search before creating a new memorial
Links, Corrections and additional information
Please use the edit tab and I will be happy to make corrections, add links and additional information. Do not leave information you want added on this page.
Note: Abstracted lists (such as census, death index, etc.) should be formulated into complete sentences prior to submitting for addition to the bio.
Copy-and-paste census, military and other data is not a "bio". Please don't send these type of bios because they will not be added.
This is Find-a-Grave, we find graves, so please, if the memorial doesn't have a grave photo, request one prior to asking for a transfer.
I'm pretty liberal when it comes to transfers, however too many times I have transferred and nothing is added or changed. So if you want a transfer, please:
1. Post any family photos (if you have them)
2. Provide me with family links and biographical information you wish to add to the memorial.
3. Tell me your exact relationship
I will not make a transfer if you create excessive memorials with unknown burial locations.
Please be a Find a Grave contributor, not just a collector of someone else's work
✔ PLEASE NOTE!!! Do not move your Burial Unknown into the correct cemetery based on the information you found from my memorial & then demand that I delete my duplicate.

Your welcome. I am still in the process of entering picture of the complete family plot. Check back in about 10 minutes

|Mary Wilson Karwoski||Thank You|
Thank you for leaving the beautiful picture of a dove for my son Richard Karwoski.
It's still very hard for me to believe he's no longer here, I miss him terribly.
Did you know him?
Thank you again.
|Curt||Olive Ettoile Lyon Cravy|
I have been trying to locate but I do not see any online list with her name in it.
I find a Alice Cravy listed at plot 50 with the same year of death but no birth year. She is noted as being 75 years old though. I Have not been able to find her stone but I will be going back to do more searches and will keep it on my list. Is it possible they are the same person and used Alice or Olive as a nickname?
There is also a E. Cravy listed in the same location with unknown dates and a notation there is no stone. That may be another possibility.
These are online transcriptions not actual cemetery records.
https://familysearch.org/ may be helpful.

May I have your consent to use your photo of Effie Pence Hiatt on my personal website, rabgenealogy.com? Her memorial number is 57344099, and she is buried in Inglewood Park Cemetery in Los Angeles County. I will give you a "courtesy of" credit below the photo. My site is a hobby site; I don't make money off of it or charge anyone to visit it. Thank you.

Yes, they were Quakers. The line that moved to Iowa are still Quakers.
|Ellen Fancy||Nellie May Osburn|
Just a correction to Nellie's bio. She was my great grandfather's sister. Her birthdate was 14 OCT 1863 • Shasta, California. That's from her passport. She was born Nellie May Dunnells. Her parents are in that same Elk section--Samuel Sumner Dunnells and H. Elizabeth (Moore) Dunnells
I am signed up with Find a Grave too but you emazing people already did all my people in Greewood!

|Marcia Lynne vonGunden||Transfer & thank you|
Thank you for your generosity in transferring:
Oliver F. Fernald # 114058219
to my care. With your help, I have successfully connected him with his parents, 3 siblings, and 5 of his six half-siblings. As I receive more information, I will be adding it to Our shared memorial.
With sincerest appreciation,
|Erika Lawson||RE: Sarah Grubel|
I know these next 2 - 3 weeks are going to be a serious crunch time for you. I just wanted to let you know that another volunteer, CJ Jackson (#47426410), sent me a lot of clippings on the Grubel family, including the obits for Sarah "Sallie" Grubel and Marjorie Hayes Taylor Grubel.
I imagine they're the same as those you've come across. Please don't worry or think that you need to keep this on your list of "things to do"
I appreciate all you've done already.
|Linda Hollingshead||RE: Release of find a grave pages|
Thank you so much for releasing James and William Duncan to me. I truly appreciate it.
