One of my hobbies is driving through cemeteries taking pictures of gravestones and then searching the internet and newspaper archives to see if I can find information for the departed buried there. |
I will be happy to transfer any memorial if you are a direct relative and promise to leave me as the one who originally created the memorial.

Thanks Rich for taking pictures of the Johnson tombstones. I appreciate that you took the time to find the marker and photograph it. Thanks so much!
Hi Rich - I noticed this burial for Minnie Nagel was listed as her maiden name apparently being Lawlor? I was wondering where that info may have come from. Looks like I might have some incorrect info in my tree! (I thought it was Eitelgeorge)

Update made, would you like a transfer?
Sorry for so many messages, should have checked everything first. In my family tree I had Leland Roy Post. Now I send some links for you to look at then update please. Oh these people who mostly used their middle name!!
Then birth was indexed as Ray - oh my!
Then in 1920 Census with parents his name was Roy.
That is enough, you are probably a better researcher that I am.
Just checked my family tree and I do have his wife and even their children. I was in contact with living relatives a few years ago who gave me lots off info.
Wow! you were busy getting info this afternoon. I do have info for his parents but I did not know his wife. Thank you!
Thanks for adding Roy Post to the website. If you live near Woodlawn Cemetery in Alta, Buena Vista County, will you please check for parents of Roy?
Clayton Post as per SSDI died Jul 1970.
Mabel Post as per SSDI died May 1976.
Both in Buena Vista County.
I just figure that since their son died in Woodbury County but buried in Buena Vista County perhaps his parents are in the same cemetery.
|Johnnie Zollinger||Many Thanks|
