I am new to this and I am also a new mother and in my spare time (what little I have) I like to do genealogy. It has been my hobby since 2006 and I love finding new connections. Which has lead me to cemeteries searching for dates and names.
I live in the Colorado Springs area and am willing to take photographs of headstones in the local area for anyone who is in need and cant get out this way. Just remember it might take me sometime to get them as I have a 7 month old-bouncing baby boy!
I am interested in the following surnames; Carsten, Corsentino, Aloisio, Loyd, Hood, Davenport, Javine, Hubbard, Clapp, Giurlando, Nash and Campbell. My family is spread far and wide across the country- Virginia, Oklahoma, Tennessee, California, Hawaii, Nevada, Colorado(which I have covered), New York and Kentucky. | |

 | Clesceri Hi Treva!
BINGO! Yep, this is part of my family. Frances Clesceri Corsentino was the great-niece of my g-g-grandmother! Raimando Clesceri was her nephew, son of her brother, Giorgio Clesceri.
Thanks so much for getting back to me with the maiden name of Frances's mother, some Ancestry.com records have her down as 'Scino', which should have been 'Schiro'. I will add this info to my family tree program. I had no clue the actor Frank Corsentino was a relation to us, this is awesome.
Sincerely, Brigitte | | | Brigitte Tucker-Ford
 | Clesceri Hi Treva,
Thanks for getting back to me, I greatly appreciate that.
My g-g-grandmother was Jennie (Giovanna) Clesceri Capaci. She was born in Piana dei Greci, Sicily in 1863, and came to America with her husband, Andrea, and her two kids, George, (Giorgio) and Anna, who I descend from, Anna Capaci Faucetta was my g-grandmother. They went thru the Port of New Orleans and settled in Los Angeles around 1904. Jennie had a brother who had children who also settled in Los Angeles. I am wondering if your Frances Anna Clesceri Corsentino was one of her nieces.
I am about 99 percent certain we must connected due to the extremely rare surname of Clesceri, as I said its not only rare in America, but also in Italy.
Waht can you tell me about Frances Anna Clesceri Corsentino? Can you tell me her parents names or her mothers maiden name?
Thanks, please let let me know what you uncover. Sincerely yours, Brigitte Tucker-Ford | | | Brigitte Tucker-Ford
 | Frances Anna Clesceri Corsentino Hi there,
The surname Clesceri is very rare, not only in Italy, but also in California and America. Clesceri was the maiden name of my g-g-grandmother. Im just wondering if maybe we are related, can you please drop me a line?
Sincerely, Brigitte | | | Nancy/catsaver
 | Anthony Corsentino I've created the memorial for Anthony & as soon as I get his tombstone picture, I'll transfer ownership of the memorial to you. Have you asked Toni to transfer Laura's memorial to you yet? | | | Nancy/catsaver
 | Anthony Corsentino ANTHONY CORSENTINO Died: 03/12/1971 Is this the one you're looking for? He's buried in St. Peter's, not with Laura who is in Holy Cross. Please let me know. Thanks!

 | Happy to help! Hi Treva, No worries --I usually go out and care for a couple of other graves that seem to be in need of some TLC so it's no problem for me to pop down the road and check on your family. I'm honored to tend to your family's plots for you :) I'll get some better photos for you in the coming days. Take care...no worries! :) WandaAdded by wesblues on Mar 15, 2011 1:54 PM | | | wesblues
 | RE: Carsten @ Mountain View Hi Treva, My grandson and I were at Mountain View yesterday to tidy up a few graves and wander the grounds. I took my gardening tools and cut the dirt/grass back from your dad's headstone -looks much better. We left an American flag at your dad's site and an angel bearing a gold cross at your grandmother's. I didn't have my camera handy, but will go back out in the next day or two and retake a photo for his memorial page. I'll continue to check in on your family when I visit just to make sure that their sites look decent. I only live about one block from Mountain View and go out about once a week. Take care, Wanda (wesblues)Added by wesblues on Mar 14, 2011 11:19 AM | | | Charlie Vines
 | RE: Aaron P Nash I have a website for the Shoemaker clan at www.shoemakerfrc.ancestryhost.com. I have my information on Logan listed there. If you would like to add any info on the Nash family, I would be delighted to add the data to my site. | | | wesblues
 | Carston @ Mountain View Yes, they were in need of a bit of dusting off and minor grooming -I sheered back the overgrowth as best I could prior to taking the photos. Now that I know where your family members are resting I would be pleased to care for their burial sites and send occasional photos....seriously. I love love to stroll thru cemeteries and kind of feel like I'd be taking care of distant relatives or friends. Happy to do it if that's ok with you. | Aaron P Nash Thank you for the heads up on my misspelling Aaron's name. I have modified his memorial.
Are you related to the Wise Co, VA Nashes? Logan Palmer Nash (son of Lilbourn Rollins, son of Wicklief Hendricks) is my material step-grandfather.
