Obituaries are welcome and encouraged. They are a great help to genealogists and serve as excellent biographical place holders until family shows up to write an original, personalized biography.
Send the complete & unedited obituary, along with the date and name of publication, through the "Sugest any other" edit function. It will be placed on the memorial quickly.

RE: Ft. Snelling
Thanks so much for the encouraging message! I try to do my best and hope the family members who come upon the memorials would be pleased with their photos. Thanks for all your hard work too. Also, if you see some memorials that should be photographed for various reasons please shoot me those memorial numbers. Very few of my photos were photo "requests".

RE: Others buried with Thomas Tyndall
Yes you are right.. Mr Daly was buried on the same day as your Thomas.. Mr Foster was a couple of days before and Mary was a couple of days later.
I will send you a copy of the burial records page by e-mail......

Others buried with Thomas Tyndall
I've got the records open at the moment...
Michael Patrick Foster aged 42 years at death. Address 3 Cokely Street

Thomas Joseph Daly aged 51 yrs. died in Liverpool 'Heart hospital'. (Could be what is today called Broadgreen hospital)

Mary Andrews aged 62 yrs.. died at 126 Smithdown road Liverpool.

By all means use the photo's when you create the memorial pages..

Thomas Tyndall 1876 - 1942 Ford cemetery
Hello again
I've just read the full page that you have for Thomas and I see you already knew about the place of death.
I've had another look at the records and as you say, others were buried with him
Michael Patrick Foster, Thomas Joseph Daly and Mary Andrews.

Thomas Tyndall 1876 - 1942 Ford cemetery
The records show him as buried on 20th July 1942 in section B (plot 186). Section B was a 'public' section where all the graves were unmarked. Part of it seems to be getting reused as there are more modern graves on part of it.
I have attached a photo of the area to his page but as it doesn't help your research, I won't be offended if you delete it.
The only other bit of info (which you may already have) is that he died in the Sailors Home in Liverpool.

RE: Gate of Heaven
You are very welcome! I was not as happy with these photos.. I didn't anticipate the ground being frozen and not being able to put the flag in properly! I'll think about that next time! I'll add the photos to his wife today. Take care and blessings, Dana

RE: 2Y, 2Z
I'll have 2X, 2D, 2R and 2W as well as my completion of E put up within the week. BTW, I created a memorial for Melissa Schmitt, wife of Herbert Edwin as I found none. If you would like it transferred, say the word.

RE: McManus at LINC
Yes, I encountered the same problem when I started with Find A Grave. I asked around and agreed with Glenn to do whatever the marker said as he had the same concerns. I was just trying to match up the families. Thank you for the info on the Irish. I usually see Mc with no space with living people but the VA had spaces so... I learned to check both with and without spaces but had created duplicates as well. Lo, van, de, etc have me stumped as well as some are together and some are not. We have some family that are de but even they could not decided and we found both. French has it separated-meaning of the. Italians have the lo and it is separated as well and von should be separated (German). The spellings change throughout the years and sometimes they are merged. I am always open to accuracy. Thank you for all you are doing as I see your name at LINC and Fort Snelling (my 2 main cemeteries-due to steady, reliable photographers). Thank you for honoring the vets. Hope to continue seeing you around. LOL
