I had been looking for my Paternal Grandmother's grave for a very long time... no one in the family could tell me where it was. Thanks to this site, and Carolyn Farnum I have found her final resting place~! Thank You for all your work!

To repay the kindness, I make an attempt to put as many photos and grave markers that I can on Find a Grave.

If I have added a grave and you would like it to be transferred to you, just let me know...

Scatter me not to the restless winds
Nor toss my ashes to the sea.
Remember now those years gone by
When loving gifts I gave to thee.
Remember now the happy times
The family ties are shared.
Don't leave my resting place unmarked
As though you never cared.
Deny me not one final gift
For all who came to see.
A simple lasting proof that says
I loved and you loved me.

Hi. May I have your permission to copy the photo you took of Valentine Bradley for my family tree. I would give you credit for taking the photo. Holly

RE: Hannah Hunter
Hi Jean

According to her obituary Hannah was laid to rest beside her husband John. There is a headstone for John but none for Hannah. Would you like a copy of Hannah's Obituary??

RE: Hannah Hunter
Hi Jean - I have some more info for you.

Hannah (Hunt) Hunter was born in "Nova Scotia"
Hannah Hunters maiden name was "Hunt". Married
John Hunter in Canada in 1852.

From the information I have it looks like they had Three sons.

Andrew, George, and James

If I had your e-mail address I would send you a PDF file with all this information

Jean, I am your husband's cousin. I will be in Chester in the next few weeks & wondered if you might want pictures of headstones of other family members buried there? Deb

Ruth A Holedger
Hello Jean, I was hoping that maybe you could help me. You listed a burial in Mt Vernon cemetery for Ruth A Holedger and I assume you listed her from mowing the rows in the cemetery. I suspect that her husband James P Holedger who died in 1925 is buried beside her but since there was no more living family I suspect it is unmarked. Do you work closely with the cemetery and possibly have access to a burial listing that could help to confirm this? Any help you could give would be very appreciated. I have listed his sisters burial in my area and I am trying to connect the family a bit but they are making it hard on me! :)

Oh also, I've submitted requests to have the unknown dates updated plus adding the plot section.

You are most welcome! I also just posted the pic for Idella plus for the other three listed on the stone. I had taken one yesterday but wasn't pleased with it so wanted to do it over before posting.
Take care,
