Elizabeth Carpenter 1814-1842
I don't know how many times I have looked at this Find-A-Grave link for Elizabeth Carpenter and never noticed your link!

I have photos of Avery Carey Oakes, who was my 3XGGF, and on the back of one of them, someone has written that he married Elizabeth Carpenter...and then the lineage down to my maternal grandmother. The Find-A-Grave website shows Ezra Carpenter 1782(3)-1850 to be her father. It is that link (Ezra Carpenter and Eleanor Hawes) that leads up to the Mayflower! .....IF I have the right Ezra Carpenter and IF he is Elizabeth's father.

Do you have any information that can verify that Elizabeth is Ezra and Eleanor's daughter? Or any suggestions on where I can do research.

I have contacted someone who is part of the Y-DNA Carpenter Cousins project and am waiting to hear back. I also went to the local Mormon Family History center in Phoenix but the volunteer didn't seem very knowledgeable. I contacted an Ancestry Family Tree member who lists Elizabeth as a daughter but he doesn't have written proof, just putting pieces together from lots of research in the area over the years.

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

I requested a photo of the tombstone and received the following message:

We are writing to let you know that a Find A Grave volunteer has reported a problem with your photo request for Eugene Carpenter.

The general problem they reported is:
Cemetery office has no record of this person

They also reported, specifically:
The office has no person by this name.

Is there a possibility that this is the wrong cemetery?

Family research
I am Kevin Lafferty and related to Glenn Mowry and Lucille Carpenter through his mom and dad, Lewis Mowry and Margaret Lafferty. I would like to get some information pertaining to any children Glenn and Lucille had and any information about her in-laws.
