I am of Russian descent and have primarily focused my interest on the Russian Molokans. They settled on Potrero Hill in San Francisco and many are buried at the Russian Sectarian Cemetery in Colma, CA; I have also located many at Olivet Memorial Park and Vacaville, CA.|
There is a Russian Molokan message board (Ancestry.com) where I have made posts of news articles, obituaries, historical information and much more.
I am a native of San Francisco, CA.
I've always liked cemeteries and hope I can help other people locate their ancestors graves. I love doing research and would be willing to help anyone with information or pictures.
I don't consider snapshots I take of a grave or a family photo I upload to be copyrighted or owned by me. I understand the importance of wanting a copy of a grave to attach to someone in your family tree. If it's been uploaded by me, I've done it to share with others. I don't mind someone copying the photos and I also have no problem emailing any pictures or documents I have that someone would like.
If I go to a cemetery, I try to take pictures of as many graves as possible and upload pictures to existing memorials or set up memorials if there isn't one, in hopes of it helping a family member locate them. I'm happy to do any updates that you want and don't hesitate to ask for transfers. Just use the Suggest a Correction link on the desired memorial. If they mean something to you, then you are probably better able to give them the best memorial possible.

Thank you Nancy, I have taken care of the dup.

Thank you for the information to add to the memorial. I do not include named of living relatives, even if the obituary was found online, due to Find A Grave's policy. I personally will add names of surviving family members if the death occurred at least 50 years ago. For deaths occurring more recent than that, I prefer to follow Find A Grave's guidelines. As such, I have removed the names of her surviving children from the obituary you provided. I hope you understand.

I have deleted my posting which was made before I had found the obituary and learned the correct spelling. Bea is on the cemetery list of plot purchasers but this is probably becausse she buried her mother.
Hi there, Does the cemetery record show Hollcroft or Dabovich?
This was your message to me today.
I can't answer you right now because I'm in the process of moving and all my stuff is packed somewhere.
I wrote down your question and your email and I will get back to you in a couple of weeks. OK?
As soon as I'm in my new place, I'm taking my computer in for servicing; that's why it'll be a couple of weeks before I get back to you.

Delete his info in the flower area. That is for flowers and notes of love. Not SACs.

Well, it's my understanding only Find A Grave administrators can merge memorials. I know there are many, many memorials in the IC cemetery for folks who were removed to other cemeteries, some with existing memorials in the "right cemetery", some without so I'm guessing administrators are helping/addressing these types of issues :) In the end, it looks like it worked out perfectly for your memorials!
All you need to do is EDIT the burial location on your IC memorials for Rose and David - changing them FROM IC to HC. They will automatically move there once you save each memorial after you edit the location. Then, you will have two memorials for each of them in HC so you would delete the new ones you just created leaving the two you "moved" from IC :) Let me know if this doesn't work (it should though!) for you :)

Those missing blocks....who knows, I can't figure that out either - so many "blocks" aren't listed separately, sigh. I've resorted to the painful route of working through page by page by page by page of the daily log books, ugh. I've found that almost always (yeah, there are a few exceptions now and then!) if I don't see a plot/block number on a memorial, chances are that person was removed to another cemetery OR, there's a duplicate meaning there's a misspelled name one one of them or one (or even two) of the duplicates are under various surnames (e.g., maiden name, hyphenated surname, marriage #2, 3, 4, etc). Here's hoping those records are transcribed (what a chore!) and searchable sooner rather than later :)

Thank you very much for bringing the information about Victor Partnoff to be put in the memorial. I have added it.
If you are a relative or knew the deceased and would like me to transfer management of the memorial to you, I am happy to do so. I don't know this person and most likely photographed the grave stone photo because it was near another I had been requested to photo, just wishing to get more info into Find A Grave.
All the best,

If you could that would be great! The city of Colma historical society told me they currently have the records. They were just given them by Mt Olivet cemetery.
