Bio and Links
Bio Photo I got interested in genealogy several years ago after going to a family reunion. At that time I knew nothing of my Father's family (Cornwell) nor anything of my husband's line. I was lucky to find several Cornwell relatives, even a 1st cousin that I didn't know about. I have found so many pictures of graves and information on findagrave and starting to take pictures when able that might be helpful to others.
I live in Hoover, Alabama and am from California.
My family line, Cornwell, Lackey, Dunning, Berry, Howard, Howell and many others and my husband's side, Simpson, Friedman, Thousand, Brown (most likely) and others unknown are from KY, IL and mostly St.Louis, Missouri area.

Marie Cornwell Ille
I am also doing geneology and my family is related to Frank L. Ille, Marie's husband. It is a long story but Frank's father died and his mother, Louise remarried John Brown in Lexington, OK about 1918. Louise had 5 children by her 1st husband; Frank L and William R. who lived in Oregon, Michael who I believe lived in Minnesota, and Dorthy Ille-Schmitz and Bernard Ille, who stayed in Lexington. Louise and John Brown had 1 son, John Lewis Brown who ended up living in Oregon also. We have lost contact with this branch of the family and have searched to find them. If you have any pictures or documents that you could share of the Ille branch, I would appreciate it.

Wanda Rose Cornwell
I just got the information on Wanda Rose. My Grandfather was the truck driver, that hit Wanda. He was working for Long Bell Lumber and had just unloaded south of town. He and my father (then 10) were coming back to Lawton, when Wanda ran out in front of the truck, and was killed. My grandfather passed away in 1968, never getting over the fact that he took a life in an accident. Years later (2009), my dad told me the story and said his dad never got over the accident and never talked of it because it was too painful for him. My dad passed away in 2010 and I have been looking for the newspaper article since then. My cousin just handed me the article, that's when I found I the out who the girl was and her age.
