I have been gathering family information for over 25 years and consider myself a beginner. I love to share information and pictures with others on line. I live a long ways from my areas of interest and I am thankful for those willing to help. If you see any errors or know something I haven't noted and would like to see please let me know.|
If you are related and would like me to transfer any of my North Idaho Memorials to you, please let me know.

Odette, I'm not sure what to say, other then THANK YOU for this privilege. I'm not sure what it takes to properly maintain a memorial. I would appreciate any information you can give me on how to do this properly, or where to get this information. Like I said earlier, I just recently found out about find a grave. Like the saying goes "IT IS HELL BEING A ROOKIE", but you have to start somewhere. Thanks again, if I can be of any help to you in the future, feel free to ask.

My name is Duane Smith I have been looking into my family history for a couple of years, and just recently discovered Find a Grave. Frank D Smith is my great grandfather. I noticed there was a question about his unit from the Civil War. I have seen his original enlistment documents at the National Archives in Washington D.C. The information on his headstone is correct.

Hi, I am investigating the Moselle crash in Cincinnati and see you have Daniel Charles Snyder listed as dying on it. I was wondering where you got the information that he died in this crash from as he was not listed in any of the newspapers passenger death or injury lists that I have seen from the time. I would appreciate any information and am very interested to hear more!
Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
|Carol ||RE: Olden's|
On October 31st I received the following email: Olden's
The marker for Robert appears to read Robert "Mack" Olden. So I changed it to that. I will note that it is not his correct name. I made other changes you suggested, if you would like more let me know. Also, if these are your direct line, I am happy to transfer.

The information concerning Robert Olden is incorrect. Robert is not a "male" but a "female". Her birth name was "Robert Mae Olden". My grandmother Mabel M. Olden Walton was her sister.

Thanks for the history and thought process. There are relatives of his in Pine Grove, and it makes sense that he would be buried near them.
I scanned funeral records from Cassedy for people who were buried "elsewhere" -- i.e., not Pine Grove or other very local cemeteries -- and his record just said "County", which I always took to mean the one on Seltice. But a whole block of pauper graves in "north" county makes perfect sense.

Hi Odette, I have recently found an obituary for Charles Daniel and Ann Wagstaff. If you would consider transferring maintenance to me, I would like to add it to his Find A grave Memorial.
Thanks for all you do.
