I am a native of Utah and have been doing research for almost 20 years. I have a lot of resources at my fingertips. I also have access to lots of Utah records and know where you can get specific documents to help find your ancestors. Especially of interest, very early Ogden City Cemetery burial records.|
I welcome any questions you might have. Don't hesitate to contact me if you need me to help you. I have decided since I am asked so much to do genealogy research and information about obituaries, etc. that I can't process these requests for free. I don't mind doing the work for you but it does cost me gas and time.
I am contemplating covering several other counties in genealogical research. Just ask me I might know how to help you get pointed in the right direction.
If you have any questions or requests please email me Utahtombstonelady@hotmail.com.
For all the people whom have taken the
time to take photos for my memorials...a BIG THANKS!
Please don't create duplicate memorials for people I have taken photos or created memorials for...simply ask and I will gladly transfer ownership over to you, unless I am related to the same individual. Please be respectful and ASK ME before you take and post my photos to different web sites! You may use or post a copy of headstones to other websites as long as you post this info with it: Special permission has been given by Utahtombstonelady@hotmail.com.
I am related to several individuals in my memorials. I WILL NOT turn over OWNERSHIP for them for obvious reasons.
If you want to take over ownership you must click the link and send your contributor # so I can transfer it over to you!
I am extremely passionate about taking headstone photos in old cemeteries simply because the cemetery markers and tombstones are being disintegrated and destroyed by many elements. These markers and tombstones might be some of the oldest in Utah. The biggest threat the headstones face today are vandals. The other obvious threats are weather and time. Now is the time to photograph them while they are still intact. I encourage whomever would like to photograph and care for tombstones to do it now so that further generations will have a chance to view these headstones, if no way else than by photograph.

|KDQ||Zazle Velma "Susie" Bahr Kerwin|
My family and I have been working on Forest Lawn Cemetery in Omaha, Nebraska. It has more than 90,000 burials of which only about 63,000 are documented on Find A Grave.
In the past couple of days I worked on the Kerwin Family. Zazle Velma "Susie" Kerwin and her husband William Kerwin are buried in Forest Lawn.
After completing the memorial (Zazle Velma "Susie" Bahr Kerwin Find A Grave# 136452874), and having the photo of the headstone uploaded, I discovered your memorial for Zazle (Find A Grave# 43657947).
I am unsure why it is thought that Zazle is buried in another part of Nebraska. We have her here in Omaha with her husband. The Forest Lawn burial registration number for Zazle is 76451 and for her husband William Raymond Kerwin the burial number is 69528.
Please contact me regarding combining these duplicate memorials.

Thanks so much for the edit of Charles' memorial. Ellen Smith Draughon
Thank you so much for the transfers, I will get right to work.
|Tom B Stone||RE: Ogden City Cemetery|
Thank you very much! I have seen all the work you have done in Roy and in Ogden. I have done nothing compared to all of the work you have done. I don't know how YOU do it all.
My problem is that I find something, then I get curious about the person and go off on a jag to find out about them. I would get a lot more done if I would quit doing that, but it wouldn't be as much fun.
It is truly addicting but the condition of my yard is telling me that I need to get out of the graveyards for a while. We'll see how that goes.
I wanted to thank you for some recent edits that you did for me for Rosezella Hardy.
