Bio and Links
Bio Photo If sending me an email please note: there is an underscore between rachel & keller.

I am more than happy to link family members and add additional information. Please only ask for transfers when your intent is to add biographies, life stories, or meaningful information or have many children to connect.

Families I am researching: Keller of York Co., Pa., Ohio, Iowa: Pearce/Pierce of Ohio, Iowa: Bartlett of W.Va and Kansas: Thompson of Ohio, Illinois and Nebraska, Darst of Ohio & Illinois, Hanson and Clendennen of Pa.

Most of the memorials posted are of cemeteries I have just visited while passing by and I am not related but don't hesitate to ask in case I do have some additional information.

It is a joy when someone sends you a message and they are doing the "happy dance". Pay it forward when you have just been given a wonderful clue regarding your family or a loved one with a photo or information on a missing relative. Take a few photo's of someplace close to where you live and post them. It may be someone's "brick wall".
FAG is an amazing site and I am grateful for all the wonderful genealogy information I have received from this site.

FAG is growing so rapidly...please be respectful of all who post photos, leave tokens, establish memorials and contribute information. This is people helping people!

Thank you

KELLER-Kinney Family
Good morning, Rachel; I was finally able to finish reading through Rachel's one year diary. What a fantastic and interesting life she led.
So very devoted to her Christian life; now I'm attempting to find out which denomination their family were most involved with?
I've also contacted the lady who shared the family photos in the hopes of at least permission to share Rachel's photo in the dark dress.
Sincerely, Ronna Eagle, 'ronnaeagle8@gmail.com'

RE: City Point National Cemetery
Hi, Rachel, I was finally able to get to City Point National Cemetery today and got a photo of your relative's headstone, Sylvester Densmore. I saw that there was already a photo of his headstone here, but I uploaded mine to his memorial anyway. If you want me to remove it, please let me know and I will. Sorry it took so long to do this for you! Chris

RE: JOHN FEENEY AT ST. MARY'S
The article is in a subscription newspaper, so canít forward it to you. It is also quite lengthy, so will need some time to work with it before sending it to you.

The death notice for the Bridget you found is posted to her memorial. See if the name of her daughter rings a bell.

Will get back to you tomorrow. If the storms donít wipe out our power.

Ord K. Pearce
I received an email from a person that is a volunteer for a local museum in Batesville, Arkansas. He stated that a person had brought in a diploma belonging to Ord K. Pearce granted to him for his graduation from veterinary school. He asked me if I knew someone who was related to him. I saw you had placed an ancestor flower on his memorial so wondered if you were a ancestor and would be interested in the diploma. If so I can give you the name of the person that contacted me.

RE: City Point National Cemetery
Rachel, my appointment was changed so I did not get to Hopewell today. I hope to go next week.
In looking for other information about City Point Cemetery, I did find that all of the interments are now listed on-line at this link:
http://www.interment.net/data/us/va/hopewell/citynat/index_cldi.htm

www.interment.net has your relative listed as follows:

Densmore, S, d. 11/26/1864, PVT 1 MINN INF, Originally Buried Near Lepseyshouse, Va, Plot: 978, *

Apparently, he was originally buried in one of the other cemeteries that were relocated to City Point. I have not been able to locate the original location of "Lepseyshouse". If your research locates it, I would be interested in knowing where it was! Thanks! Chris

RE: City Point National Cemetery
Rachel, how is his name spelled - the misspelling? If his name is incorrect on the tombstone, it will incorrect in the registry.
