|After dabbling with genealogy since 1984, about 1992 was when I really began digging into it. Sure have learned a lot of history and geography along the way! |
I find it touching that so many writing their wills in the 1800's and before, willed their souls to God.

Thank you for the information on Elizabeth, made the updates.

Thanks for making these Gravesites and the info on them available. James is in my listing of family ancesters. I can definitely get to Benjamin F. Freeman Sr. B1762. I wondered if you had any information on the Ben F Freeman b 1755.
Where exactly he fits in. His wife is i think Catherine Frum Bynum. email@example.com

Thanks so much, Dragonfly! I was so thrilled to get your message! I think these genealogy communities are just the greatest things since sliced bread. I've "met" so many helpful people along the way… It's just amazing! What a grand new hobby I have found!
DAR is next on my radar. I'm qualified about 6–8 different ways. Can't decide which ancestor to honor first. May have to do more than one!
I hope you're enjoying a lovely vacation. I look forward to hearing from you when you return, and of course get caught up with things back at home.
All the best... J

I found your note on Edward Bartlett's memorial page (memorial #55410178) regarding his Bible records being found in the American Descendant, Vol 62 issue 1 (2013).
I cannot find a copy of that periodical online anywhere. Would you happen to have a copy of that magazine, pages 52 to 54, that you would share? Or perhaps you have found a link where I can find it online. I've exhausted all of my potential sources. (I'm sort of new at this!)
I am trying to prove my Mayflower descendancy, and cannot find an adequate birth record for Edward's son, also named Edward Bartlett. I'm hoping a copy of that article might suffice for that.
Many thanks for any help you can provide. My email address is: firstname.lastname@example.org

Thanks for the revisions regarding the spelling of his name. Well done. My only comment is that the paragraphs in the bio field are run-on and you might want to add some carriage returns to separate the paragraphs and make it easier on the reader to go through the text. Thanks for being so thorough - I wish everyone took the care that you've taken.

Hi Dragonfly ~
I was thinking the same thing last night. I started to message you, but I accidentally hit the enter key, so never finished it.
I know we have to be distant cousins. Deacon David and Mercy (Sturtevant) Bosworth were my 8th great grandparents. I descend from them through their son Nehemiah, then Nehemiah's son John.
I was wondering how you descend from David and Mercy? It's nice to connect with a distant cousin and compare notes.
Thanks for linking the memorials. Good to hear from you! Janet Bosworth

I am the gggson of Archibald and Eliza, and am delighted that you've given me a chance to see their gravestone.
Anybody who wants to know their descendency through son William Edward Stewart (1841 - 1899) please contact me at email@example.com.

I posted the pictures. The Stewarts tie into my husband's genealogy. How do you relate?
