I have been doing cemetery and family research in Boone Co for almost 40 yrs. I have tracked down cemeteries in many odd places. I have searched for cemeteries that have become only memories due to various reasons. My cemetery photo collection covers even some stones that have been moved - lost or just disappeared. |
If you have questions about the location of any cemetery - stone - or need additional photos of any cemetery I will try to help.
Some photos may not be quite up to what I
would like. As such as time and all permits
I will be retaking as necessary. If you
find one that you would like a better pic of
- please notify me which one it is and I will correct.
It has been brought to my attention that
there are some people posting cemetery
listings on FAG that they get by going to
their local libraries and copying from work
done by others. Then they 'restrict' your entering info on anyone without
their ''permission'' or you HAVE to send
them the info for them to enter.
I will not have any contact with those
people. All they are doing are looking
for their 'glory' in the number of names
that they can post.
If someone wants to post info to anything
that I have listed - I will either transfer
the listing to them or they can send me the
info and I will post it for them. I do not
restrict anyone from using my listings -
and even will assist in making any
corrections if necessary.
If anyone has questions about my work -
contact me - as I have stated before -
I have been doing this for over 40 yrs.
And I personally have visited every cemetery that I post info or pictures on.
I have even found some photos that I have
taken posted on other sites under someone
elses name. The people that do that need
to remove them unless they have asked my permission and credit me or anyone else
who did take the photos. If I find any
photos that are mine used without my
permission under someone elses name - I
will take action.
The best way to get info about any family
members on FAG is to contact a person that
lives in the area. They will know more
about the family - cemetery or other info
then someone who never has been in the area.

|Maria Power||Centralia Cemetery|
Floyd, thank you for posting information about my family buried in the Centralia Cemetery. Would you be interested in transferring memorials #50276675, Jessie Pool, and #50276674, J. Weaver Pool, to my care? Jessie was married to my great-grandfather. Thanks for all you've done!
|Dana K||Glenn Warington Carmichael|
Hi Floyd, my name is Dana and I am looking for the sister of my husband Andy's grandma. Her name was Ada Yates and she was born in Nodaway CO MO around 1900. She was married to a Glen Carmichael. During the 1920's she and Glen resided in Columbia MO. She died in the early 1950's. Do you have any info as to whether Glenn Warington Carmichael had a wife named Ada, before Ruby? Thanks, Dana

Hi how are you? My computer is being very hateful today it will not let me print anything out so I am in a very bad mood. So it really cheered me to see your name. I am going to come to Columbia in July to look for a scholar ship that was left by one of the Carthrae's, the mother was a Cottle but the son & daughter never married so it can be used by any of their decendents. So maybe we could actually meet in person. Anyway thanks as usual when every I am looking for anything in this area you have always been there & taken care of my need. I am so glad to be you friend, put thank you so much.

The grave marker next to Christopher was not very legible, but the first name started Chlor. Would this be his wife??? I created a memorial for this person and posted the photo if you want to look at it.

Thank you so much for this picture. Do you have access to the cemeteries records or a caretaker who can tell us IF and WHEN each was buried? I have been unable to find a MO death certificate online for either.
|Anonymous||RE: Strader etc... photos|
Looks as though all the other markers had photos posted already, only Augusta (d. 1864) was missing. But that's been remedied now.
You have a photo request for Augusta Strader in Green Lawn Cemeter, Columbus, OH. Cemetery records indicate she is buried in section R, lot 203. At that location I found a marker for Augusta Stroedter (d. 1864), and several other Stroedters. If you agree with me that 'Stroedter' is a spelling variation of 'Strader.' I will be glad to post these photos. The other names are Anna, Amelia, John, Emma, another Augusta (d. 1892), Julia and Charles. If you believe this is not the same Augusta as the one you are seeking, I will withhold posting the photos.
